A Thought For The Day:

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use the internet and they won't bother you for weeks, months or even years.

Somewhere, it was 5* when I got up. The 'guessers' say 26 - 28 today. (C*) Good lounging weather, but almost too hot for manual labor.

Was very pleased that our septic problem (broken pipe between house and tank) was finally fixed just after we got home. I'm still doing laundry since I couldn't use the washer before our trip. Add that to two weeks of vacation laundry and it makes for a whole lot of laundry!

One day, a man came home and was greeted by his wife dressed in a very sexy
nightie.
'Tie me up,' she purred, 'and you can do anything you want.'
So he tied her up and went golfing.

A woman came home, screeching her car into the driveway, and ran into the
house..
She slammed the door and shouted at the top of her lungs, 'Honey, pack your
bags. I won the lottery!'
The husband said, 'Oh my God! What should I pack, beach stuff or mountain
stuff?'
'Doesn't matter,' she said. 'Just get out.'

A Polish immigrant went to the DMV to apply for a driver's license.
First, of course, he had to take an eye sight test.
The optician showed him a card with the letters

'C Z W I X N O S T A C Z.'
'Can you read this?' the optician asked.
'Read it?' the Polish guy replied, 'I know the guy.'

Suddenly, her husband burst into the kitchen.

butter. Oh my gosh! WHERE are More...

That afternoon the Army barber sheared off all his hair.
On his second day, the Army issued Herman a toothbrush.

Everybody.
KarenK - How did you, your house and your friends do with last night's storm. I emptied 3 3/4 inches of rain out of my rain gauge today. Neighbors were on the news with basement flooding. My house is fine.

In Olmsted Falls (town just east of N, Ridgeville where KarenK lives), Bagley Rd. just west of Columbia Rd. is closed due to flooding. There's a car stuck in the high water. I've never seen the water (from Plum Creek) go over the road there...and we moved to that area in 1958. I wish we still had my parents' home so I could have walked out back to see how high Plum Creek was right there.
