I'm back!!! Yay!! I've really missed all of you! I won't have internet at home for a few more days, but you'll be sick of me before long! Now if I can only figure out why I can't stay logged in...it's probably the computer (or the user!). Hope you have all been well. Talk to you soon!

Ideas for a design of a T-Shirt:

FRONT:
A World Map (The 4 segment style that connects at the equator and the 4 segments go to point at the poles).

The map could overlay a Sudoku board with some numbers in some of the squares (dark & light). Possibly a 16x16 if a 4 More...

Hey, everybody! I've developed a couple of T-shirt ideas which I will be happy to e-mail to you if you want to send me your e-mail address in a private message to me. These are just roughs, but the idea behind these is that whatever design we come up with, it could be e-mailed as a Word More...

ANG,
We put in our offer this morning and are waiting to hear back but that may not happen today.
Yes typical of my husband and I. We waited for 5 years with a crappy falling apart kitchen and straight after getting it we are putting in an offer on another house. Good news is their kitchen is great too and only a couple of years old.
I am so very excited..... I am busting.

For the logo i suggest a map of the world but instead of continents have the sudoku grids. then all around the globe you can have either the names of countries we represent or different languages saying WELCOME ALL. I like the latter.
What do you all think?

The house we are hoping for is in the countryside of GC. But still not far out. It is a 4 bedroom (2 being doubles with ensuites) tudor style house with a pool, aircond, and plenty of alfresco living areas which are screened off to stop flys etc. The pool is central so we can watch the kids easily More...

I'm signing off myself. I've got a roaring fire going in the fireplace, so I'll be sleeping on the sofa enjoying the fire and the Australian Open on TV. Great matches so far. Baghdatis just won his match and Lleyton Hewitt is up 3-2 in the second set (he won the first set 6-0). Good night, everyone!

JANE, thanks for sending the T shirt ideas, I liked both of them, you are fast and very creative! this is going to be hard, narrowing this down for an "official" sudoluland t shirt. Should we let Gath and Kim decide on the winner?? Or let them judge and select 2 for members to vote on?

BTW, is that a EASY or a HARD sudoku puzzle? It is solveaable isn't it??

Sigh - hubbie formatted our computer yesterday and today, so have been hanging out for sudoku (and worrying about whether everything would reload okay). As we are on dial-up, downloading all udates again is a pain in the ___. He still has to download Windows updates, which apparently will take 9 hours. Last time he did this I had to go for a long walk...

Just a quick check in to see if there is an update on precious little "Ethan", hope all's fine, prayers & positive thoughts going your way Rosemary & Lauren.
Happy anniversary (I think) it's to Rolanda & Hubby, forgive me if I've got it wrong.
Now to go & see about checking out this t-shirt idea.

Are we seriously considering the t-shirt idea? I thought we would have to deal with a certain copyright issues? If not then, Yay!!! Love the idea for the designs so far, esp the one with the globe made of Sudoku grid, that's great, and definately have to have own Log-In name.
