That's great news Jeanine. It's always very exciting to buy a new home. Have fun with the decorations.

At first I thought my eyes were deceiving me Doug but, on consulting the great Google Gods, I see there is indeed a city called Trinidad in Cuba. Who woulda thunk!

I really am going to bed now, good night all.

Hal, out of sight, out of mind. I simply forgot to look at your puzzle again, but I don't think I would have come up with 'rowan' anyway. C'est la vie!

Greg, is there a chance of rephrasing question 10?

Sure Lizzy. Put 'about six' in brackets. That's all I'll say on number 10.

But many were about the inbox subject. More...

Even I got #10. My quickness must have been due to the Ghost of Mr. Cee visiting me while grinning maniacally. Everything Aussie, Mr. Cee! Got it!

on the new house, Jeanine!

I would have sent my true thoughts on Rowan, Hal, but it might have been a trifle harsh for you to read in your weakened state. ''Sneaky clue'' was VERY watered down.

The guy's up around 80, and still as high energy as ever. He does medleys so he doesn't have to wait for applause between songs. Great show.

I am luxuriating over breakfast! A double latte and a blue cheese and honey roll. I know the latter sounds funny but it is sooooo tasty!

I don't think my paternal grandfather had an arranged marriage but I can definitely say my grandmother was a picture bride! When my grandfather was finished with the transcontinental railroad, he decided he liked the farmlands of California, particularly around Los Angeles. The family back in Japan decided he was to marry a home girl not those exotic women here!
15/Dec/13 3:54 AM

So they sent him pictures of acceptable ladies of impeccable reputation and told him pick one for his wife! He did, went back to Japan, married her and then brought her back to his farm! So I am a Southern Californian girl going back three generations! Was my math correct?

HalT, did you mean just another horse color when you said chestnut, bay, sorrel? I thought you meant what were they and put down horse! That really got me mixed up on the other clues with it!
