antelope — quick insect marriage

...and here's today's factoid:
The animal with the largest brain in proportion to its size is the ant. They are known to be the smartest species of insects with about 250,000 brain cells

Studying ants was my ex-BIL's passion. He had a huge collection of ants. He even went to the Amazon just to collect ants. He had two degrees from university, but unfortunately was content delivering newspapers for a living and 'living off' my sister. An interesting man, but not to live with!

Best picture ever! I leave in the morning for Michigan where my 101 year old Mother is in the hospital and not doing well. I pray she lives until I get to her early Saturday morning. Last minute tickets have me traveling for 14 hours.

I know, it has been a month since I returned to the U.S. from Aus. My eyes were still giving me problems so after a month of more drops and doctor visits yesterday the doctor said I could stop the drops and not come back for a year. (unless there are problems, duh!)

I have resized some of my photos and posted them on this site. Please visit my page. I took the pictures of my grandchildren down because my dil really doesn't like pictures of the children on the web. I don't know why... we are not famous nor are we infamous. The children are beautiful! .
