Just saw on the national news, about 50 miles from us, a town had severe damage. Still not sure if it was a tornado or just very high winds. Too bad the announcer could not pronounce the Indian name of the town.

Sue - I am glad everything is okay at your house. We had a thunderstorm rumble through about 3:15 this morning and the lightning was close! Our sump pum has malfunctioned and hubby is off to buy a new switch. He always keeps a "fixed" one on hand! We have had a lot of rain the past 3 More...

I received this from my sister today -
It's taken a lot of willpower -

Fiona failed to mention I had two answers to yesterday's riddle. I preferred the first one I sent her. The poor guy was dead on the forest floor with an unopened parachute pack on his back.
She said that was unacceptable. I believe her exact words were, "Nooooooooooooooo! Try again!"
Finicky Fiona!

mAen Sudokuland! Had to go see a vampire this morning and missed the change and the race. Baby is doing great, my blood pressure not so well. With all the blood they take out of me I would think that would help the matter. But apparently not.

An elderly man in Louisiana had owned a large farm for several years.

He had a large pond in the back.

It was properly shaped for swimming, so he fixed it up nice with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some apple, and peach trees.

Fiona, I had meant to send an answer to you yesterday but I never managed to get around to it. Busy day here, the city had a truck collecting debris from the storm which was great. We lost 5 big limbs from one tree, not much left of the tree. Had to rake all the little stuff which took most of the day to do.

Becca did you get any damage from the storm last night?
