The family of the neighbor (who passed away) next door have hired someone to clean out the shed. It is filled with old wood. Unfortunately, the shed is on our bedroom side of our house, and I have been listening to wood being cut and thrown into a truck bed since early this morning. Not the most pleasant way to wake up. 17/Jul/16 1:21 AM |  |

Nice to drop in on the weekend to Happy Sudokuland! Also happy to report that e-mail snafu is fixed ... after more than an hour with three 'experts,' tempers flaring and frustration mounting, we're finally back to where we should be, able to delete with no messages reappearing in quadriplicate. More... 17/Jul/16 6:31 AM |  |

Peter is a brushtail possum. We get lot's of them in our yard and they often breed here. It is interesting to see the mother walking along a single wire with a baby on her back. They are a pest, in that they eat any vegetables they find. We have to fence them off. 17/Jul/16 11:45 AM |  |
Dottie is south and west of the hoopla. 17/Jul/16 11:47 AM |  |
There is also a ringtail possum which is fairly common. All the possums are protected in Oz, but they are a noxious pest in NZ where they were introduced. You can buy clothes made from possum fur in NZ. 17/Jul/16 11:48 AM |  |
