3:18 Better than our sunrise here.
Well, I had a busy day yesterday in Sudokuland and beyond. Baby names, a bio on St. Thomas, poetry and about an hour of surfing for Australian tourism destinations. Then I managed a whiny weather report, lost a game of hide & seek and remembered my high More...

2:17 Good evening all. A lovely sunrise.

Beautiful colors. I am fighting ants. The rain drove them indoors somewhere. They are coming down from the ceiling. First from there , than from somewhere else, then somewhere else again.

You seemed to be really enjoying yourself Plum. Sounds like today has a bit of drudgery involved.

Hi Shosho. Back from your run? or do still have to do that?

Darn the rain is over! I hope the marsh got enough water. I'd like to see the myriad of water fowls again. I know the mallards are back and I hope the ducklings will be appearing soon.

Dorthea, be gentle with the ants or they may call for backup...

Jerry They already have. I must of killed several hundred, yet they keep coming back. It must have been a big colony, unless they hatch fast.

Shosho - in about 6 weeks if we're lucky we will be able to hear a pair of migratory loons stopping by a nearby lake on their way "up North" (as we say in Michigan).

I can attest to Dorthea's story! Her infestation is so bad that they are in my house too!

Getting close, look out for a whooshing Shosho!

|Ok I have waited a whole minute for someone to post so then I could swoop in a take 22. Guess I'll have to do it myself!

Really cool ants, Jerry! But... Don't send 'em my way either!
We're getting box elder bugs coming in when the sun shines.
Got any of those for me, Jerry?

Hi Shiela, I woke up at "dark thirty", couldn't go back to sleep and so got up... Here I are.

Aaack! Double whammy! Karen can attest to my superior waiting abilities!

That was unexceptional.

Oh Dorthea! I feel for you!!! We have had ants in the past. It isn't fun!

Good Maen to everyone. This is a beautiful sunrise!

Shosho must still be running. Congrats Dorthea. You represented the California contingent well.

Dorthea, some say cornmeal helps get rid of them. The ants eat it, can't digest it and die... I've never tried it though.

Good morning all! Beautiful sunny day, 20F! Hope everyone has a beautiful day!

Somehow, cornmeal sounds like it might be a slow process! But I guess that you'd try everything if you have 'em! And it would be a 'green' way!

I cannot attest to Jill's, superior waiting abilities. My page is full of post rushing me home yesterday. And I could see her eyes roll and have a look on her face when I did return and said I was taking a nap. Then when I did respond to her she did not seem to care for my answer.

I love the picture -- my son is going on Spring break band tour for this college -- they are going to the east coast this year. Scott called and said he was invited to Key West during the second week of break - now nice -- all I asked was for a picture of the setting sun in the keys.
