Happy Labor Day to those is the US. We're having a holiday! Of course it marks the beginning of school here.
Well, at least my classroom is ready

Good Morning Judy! I just read your first comment about little people revolting, I was just going to day you aren't revolting (all the time) I will stand it at the 5'7" mark!

dear, I know you said the books are hard, the kids don't like you and the principal is after you, but you still have to go to school. You're the teacher!

You, too, shall shrink in your old age, HYB!

Hello, all. Have a GREAT first day, shosho!

Good morning Judy. I sprained my knee some time ago. Had right knee swollen to twice its size. But the swelling is down and I can use it without a brace. Will get back to running maybe later this week. Don't count me out!

Judy: re: comment about disappearing, we will be a walking pile of feet, tata's and a head using our arms for balance. Now there is a visual to start off your labor day weekend

Hey Jamie, thanks!!! But (ie, the district and its paperwork and budget)

2:15 Good evening all. I'm not too sure what the surprise is in today's photo. All the Aussies must be tucked up in bed fast asleep. That's where I'll be heading very soon although we're two hours behind the eastern states.

Anyone have fun plans for this Labor Day holiday? I will spend it cleaning up after 2 days of prep work and painting, ugh, but looks so much better.

Has anyone found the plucked chicken smilie? I've been searching but all I could find was a rubber chicken and a naked cockatoo!

Eeeewww, Linda! And some of us won't have much of one element, even then ...

22?

thought I'd slip in unannounced - but Judy got it without realizing!

Please continue to heal, Shosho. If we DO get to participate in a race together, with your diminutive size, you can be the proverbial rabbit that I chase!
02/Sep/08 12:26 AM
 |  |

Almost, Vici - too bad you aren't playing horseshoes.
02/Sep/08 12:26 AM
 |  |

Okay - time to go grade some papers. I know what you mean, shosho - just hang in there.
02/Sep/08 12:26 AM

I do a lot of things these days without realizing them, Vici. My first "22" ... I'm humbled.
02/Sep/08 12:27 AM

Judy - I figured it was your size - you snuck in under me! Congrats on 22 - have yet to get there myself!

3:04 My parents just left after a wonderful visit . Now I'll catch up on the past days' worth of puzzles. Oh, how I wish I could spend more time with my mom and dad (they play sudoku too ).

How rude of me...Maen all!
Haven't even done the puzzle yet.
Happy Labor Day to all our topsiders!
Amazon woman reporting in - yes, I read all that "revolting" chat late on the Easy pages!
02/Sep/08 12:31 AM

Well evidently i haven't had enough coffee because Vici's comment has went right over my head (I know hard to beleive). If Judy got it right away I KNOW it is an induendo of some sort, brain just isn't working, too many paint fumes is what I am going to blame it on

Yes, it is hard to believe that school starts again this week for us! I work in the Garden Grove School District as an Instructional Aide - - I am thankful that I have a job that I LOVE - - but I still wish there was a little bit more of summer to enjoy!

to all both short & tall! How's that for a rhyme? Rayray I'm not! Looks like Gustav may not be quite as awful as predicted, but I'm glad the people of New Orleans & nearby coastal areas have cleared out. Big question is will the levees hold?
02/Sep/08 12:42 AM
 |  |

Hey Linda - get outside and clear your head! Fresh air - ahhhhh!
I think the heigth challenged Sudokuers were comparing notes and Judy thought a "revolt" was underway - I'm afraid I probably messed up thinking she was small, too.
It's pretty fun, Linda - be sure to go back to yesterday's easy and read the last 3 pages.

Enjoy your holiday, dear teachers and aides!
Kathy - I found your poem deep!

Sandy - have a great first week! You aides are SO invaluable to the classrooms.

Plum, have you invited your parents to visit Sudokuland?
Judy, Rob says we shouldn't feel TOO bad about Mich.'s loss. We've lost most of the starters & this is going to be a rebuilding year. I hope the fans won't be too hard on Coach Rodriguez. He's already suffered enough wrath from the WVA fans!

A fierce-looking, but I suspect friendly, dog.
Poor Shosho - reading newspapers. Are American newspapers like British ones - mostly propaganda with little real news - sold predominantly through their interesting puzzle-pages and racing articles?

Kathy are you busy???
