2:13, this can't be Antarctica, I don't see Mumbles dancing around????? Mickey, I agree with your thoughts on KB's post, I have friends in their 50's that shouldn't be on their own, except for the cooking, I thought it was a description of my wife.

How Smart is Your Right Foot?

This is so funny that it will boggle your mind. And you will keep trying at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't.

1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

Billy - hope you're still awake to read this - a response to your question yesterday. A 'service' on a car is routine maintenance to keep it running well for as long as possible. The price each time can vary significantly. All the oils and filters should be replaced or cleaned regularly but they More...

I think kids should leave home pretty well as soon as they can afford to. There's no excuse to live at home when you've been working full-time long enough to have some savings. I agree with parents charging rent to kids who do stay at home when they're working. Yes, they need to have certain More...

I was at the mall the other day eating at the food court. I noticed an old man watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue.

The old man kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find the old man staring More...

Good Maen! 2.58 at 9:06am Oklahoma time. Angie, I think the moving out age really does depend on the maturity/responsibility demonstrated while at home. Holding down a job, paying bills on time, etc. I, myself, was 20 years old when I moved out and that was because I got married.

WHAT DOES A WOMAN REALLY WANT?

Angie/Melb - There is no set answer to your to your situation. Every child is different. Some mature sooner than others. Some want to spread their wings sooner than others. I have had two children leave when they were 18, I still have a 22 year old, 19 year old and a child just ready to More...

Seriously this time on moving out. I think a kid should move out when they can make a living and have enough training to do the things necessary to make it. Till then the parents teach the kids HOW to handle money, credit, cooking, cleaning, getting up in the morning to be at at job on time, etc. More...

My two cents on moving out: I agree with those who say there is no specific age, but rather it has to do with the maturity of the individual. I left home at 16, I was motivated, and graduated a year early from school, applied for and got into cosmetology school an hour and a half away, moved there More...

So i guess the moral is: if you want your kid to move out, creat some chaos and make it uncomfortable for them to be there! (or at least, make them pay rent!)

I disagree Anne - only brilliant puzzlers beat your times as I did today by a whopping 12 secs. Especially if they are geriatrics and do not use any of the aids available. Some claim to do the puzzle faster than it takes me to open the page. I do share Terry's sentiment otherwise.

However, I did move out from my parents house at 35 when I got married. My dad had health issues and I had been divorced for 7 years so I had moved back home to help them out and I paid rent and did repairs around the house while I was there.

Good Morning everyone. Angie, I had to laugh because KB took the words out of my mouth. Almost. I agree with what he says, but have to add so many variables. We have one son who moved out when he went to Army basic training -- a move he had no choice in. That was 10 years ago. His older brother More...

My time was 1:52! Another time under two minutes!
I left home at 17 after a quarrel with my dad. I did not know how to cook my own meals...but I did know how to work hard. Graduated high school early and went off to college, and I worked to pay for it myself. The experience did me good. At 18, either send kids off to university or start charging rent!

fran, cosmetology school is where you learn hairdressing and esthetics (skin care, facials, etc). In Ohio at that time, it was about a 9 month course, got out at 17, got a job, and have been in hair design for 31 years now and own my own business. Went back to university in my 20s and got my degree More...

My two cents' on moving out: The oldest left at 18 to go to college and never lived here again, except her first two summers after high school. She's my level-headed engineer/mom of a three-year-old.
