I was going to start homework, but I have my priorities. 23/Apr/13 7:38 AM |  |
 I was pushed. Thanks. 23/Apr/13 7:40 AM |  |
No Karen, just having a moment to calm the BP. All this excitement is going to have my numbers sky-rocketing.OMG is this what OLD sounds like!!!! 23/Apr/13 7:41 AM |  |
My soon to be disowned son just asked me what is it like to be old. They're so much cuter before they learn to talk. 23/Apr/13 7:45 AM |  |
Off to do the Tough, 23/Apr/13 7:46 AM |  |
Oh, Serena, you are lucky. My, now disowned eldest, asked Man recently, if I was a Grandma!I am sure you do not have to guess what Man told her. 23/Apr/13 7:49 AM |  |
Oh, Grass-hopper, I would rather die getting a little thrill, than discussing political decisions. 23/Apr/13 7:52 AM |  |
 Hello everyone!Sorry about your cats Shiela & Karen! Very sad!There is/are Rolex race/s in the USA, too G-h! 23/Apr/13 8:13 AM |  |
OK self flagellation over. Washing machine doing it's thing.Dog looking at me with THOSE eyes every time I move from the computer. (he has decided that I need guarding & so has to keep within an arms length of me at all times, & so has to move every time I do) 23/Apr/13 8:38 AM |  |
Up, and out of bed - but don't think I am awake. Back later. 23/Apr/13 8:47 AM |  |
The bees seem to be thinning out. Shelby is the only one who got stung. Poor baby went to get some water and stepped on the mean old bee. I now need to get in that room and see if I can get all of the dead ones off the floor, because bath time is soon, that means shoeless feet on that floor. 23/Apr/13 9:09 AM |  |
More awake now, but in need of a cuppa. 23/Apr/13 10:59 AM |  |
It is still cold in Vermont. 23/Apr/13 11:04 AM |  |
Oh anne, that statement conveys just how 'over' cold, you are. I hope it warms up soon for you. 23/Apr/13 11:08 AM |  |
It will be warm soon enough, GH, but tonight it is supposed to be below freezing again (29F/minus 2-ish C). But to tell you the truth, it's not that bad... spring is springing. 23/Apr/13 11:18 AM |  |
 In the meantime, I think I will have a cookie. 23/Apr/13 11:19 AM |  |
 Good morning all. Today's the day Australia's population reaches 23 million! In 1966 there were 10 million. 23/Apr/13 11:28 AM |  |
Enjoy you cookie, anne. I just had a piece of lemon and passionfruit slice. 23/Apr/13 11:30 AM |  |
Thanks. The passionfruit sounds good... 23/Apr/13 11:31 AM |  |
In 1966, the world population was 3.415 billion; today it is 7 billion. 23/Apr/13 11:45 AM |  |
Don't know if CP is working tonight, could be out catching the 23 millionth Aussie. 23/Apr/13 11:51 AM |  |
Went to have a crack at Kathy's poozle. Unfortunately don't have a clue what the value of a dime, penny or nickel is and I presume a quarter is 25 cents. 23/Apr/13 11:53 AM |  |
 So I'll have to give it a miss. 23/Apr/13 11:54 AM |  |
 Sacky, in 1956 there was about 8 million. 23/Apr/13 11:56 AM |  |
Peter, dime is 10 cents, penny is 1c, and nickel is 5c, and yes, a quarter is 25 cents. 23/Apr/13 12:04 PM |  |
Not working tonight, so no 23rd millionth baby for me. 23/Apr/13 12:05 PM |  |
Thanks CP. If she'da called them a penny, zack, deener or two-bob, I'd 've known what she meant. 23/Apr/13 12:16 PM |  |
Looks as if a mainlander has to explain things to an islander again. 23/Apr/13 12:49 PM |  |
Good evening all. Got home about 3 hours ago and finally found time to check in here. Now I'm going to bed. 23/Apr/13 12:51 PM |  |
Nothing like your own bed after traveling. Nite Hal. 23/Apr/13 1:36 PM |  |
I'm up late watching Call The Midwife that I had recorded. While checking in here, I inadvertently reported a comment as abusive when I went to click on 'More'. I didn't make the print large enough! I'm using my Kindle Fire. Guess I'll have to e-mail Gath and explain tomorrow. Has anyone else done that? Are there repercussions? I don't want to get anyone in trouble! 23/Apr/13 1:56 PM |  |
I wouldn't fret Kathy. I am sure everyone here has done something like that at one time or another. No biggie. Unless of course it was ME!!! But then I probably deserve it. 23/Apr/13 2:02 PM |  |
Thanks, G-H. I'll send off an e-mail, anyway. I'll feel better if I do. It happened so quickly, I didn't see who's comment it was. I need to get to bed now, it's after midnight here. 'Night, all! 23/Apr/13 2:18 PM |  |
Kathy, I did that before, and I was asked if I was sure I wanted to summit the comment as abusive, I said, no, and it went away. The abusive report, not the comment. 23/Apr/13 2:57 PM |  |
 I will give it a try. 23/Apr/13 2:58 PM |  |
Cuddling did not make Shelby feel better so she went down to the tank and had a mud bath. I could not scold her, because, I know that made her foot feel better. Hopefully, I will have time to give her a bath tomorrow. 23/Apr/13 3:01 PM |  |

All the bees seem to have disappeared around 7-ish. Took forever to sweep up all those little things. I am still finding them. I sprayed again tonight, and plan to do it again, before it warms up tomorrow. 23/Apr/13 3:03 PM |  |
