I would be willing to serve as Judy's second. I'm in conference with her now on details of weapon and particulars. I'm thinking of jousting with weenie sticks on sheepback. We need Kim's tractor to drag the bleachers to the best viewing position, and ... um ... whose sundown are we going by?

oooooo I can see there's all sorts of things been going on here while I've been away.

Should I ask? Or is it better not to know??

Thanks for serving as my athletic supporter, KEITH.

Good Saturday Maen, all!

Fraz: I'm with you--sounds like Anne and Judy are cooking up something (and I love the thought of Keith astride sheepback wielding wienie sticks!) Is Rayray providing the stout steeds?!

Hi.
School is back in so I don't stop in often but when I do I catch up as best I can.
Summer was the summer from ****. My Father In Law died 2 months after my Mother In Law. My sister In law has a lump on her breast and they are taking forever to figure out if it is cancer or not. More...

I stopped over at Jebs place - there are a lot of people (?) mulling around. Managed to get a few posts in and even fly over the top. Somebody bring about 4 wide screen HD TV so we can watch the football games today and tomorrow.

The gang that is there now has just about finished all the punch and whiskey - so when you come, bring more & hide it (a fleece bag is not a good hiding place). It is about 9 hours till sunset here. or joust-on

Hey Eve, I've got the TV's loaded in the truck and I'm heading out now. Does anyone need to be picked up on my way?

Hey, we had a very unusual meteorological phenomenon this morning. It was wet! It was heavy. Wait, wait, I think I remember. Long ago it was called rain!

Sundown at Jeb's place. I reckon that would be about 7:30 pm Central Daylight Savings Time. Be there!

It's SNOW here in the mountains, SHOSHO, and it's beautiful!

Since I left Tina Turner on my U-tube singing "Come Together" does anyone know how to hook a laptop into the TV for viewing. Bubba says Billy is asking to see "Proud Mary" on the related video - again and again - it's getting a little crowed around this tiny screen and the drool is a bit much, let alone the hot breath.

Now, as Princess Shosho (a title sanctioned by Sir Rayray) I must ensure that the weenie stick used in battle be of official size and with the regulation weenie brand. Wench Judy and Lady Jane, back to back and walk ten paces, turn and ??!!?? ah, whatever it is you do in battle!

Seconds - Keith, Mamacita. Stand on the side lines, be prepared to enter the fray. We wouldn't want a slapstick event do we? Maybe we do!

Shosho - I do hope you get more rain this year than last - but I hope that it is not 60" like the last "El Niño".

It's good to be able to post again. Join the party at Jeb - need help over there. Have some puzzles ahead of me - catch you later.

I have some ewes of the 'broad flat-back' variety. They are specially bred to be the mounts for short-legged jousting dwarfs in archaic costumes. Makes for condensed entertainment in our modern crowded world.

MAMACITA, HELP!!! Haven't heard from you in ages, and I've requested your presence as a "second" in a duel with Judy (Keith is her second). Shosho is making up the rules as I speak. Something about weinie sticks at 10 paces. But Rayray is providing sheep to ride, so it's sounding more More...

So very glad to get back for my sudoku fix this morning. Yesterday I about panicked thinking the site was gone forever. Went back and read yesterdays posts to find that others had same or similar problem. Usually lurk, but enjoy reading all the posts--even when I should be hard at work on the computer.

I see Judy is in fine form today! Judy, we are having quite the rain this morning. Looks like more snow is headed your way today. Quite unexpected this early in the year! Ruining my BBQ plans for this weekend!

Rena; could you pick me up along the way to Jeb's, I don't think it's too far out of your way.
Eve, er, uh, I think the dress code is going to need to be altered a little for some of us who just can't handle that attire. Are there any exceptions or alternatives?

Rena, count me in! You don't even have to stop, just slow down enough for me to jump on! I'll throw the bottles on first. But it'll have to be after the duel at sunset. I have to referee that one. Judy gets kinda wild with the weenie stick and needs some reminders when to start poking.

I had a heck of a time finding my 10 gallon tiara! I am forgoing the (snug) crop top. I have chosen a very tasteful lime green buckskin wrap with 12 inch fringe. It goes so well with my puce jeans and diamond encrusted red snakeskin high heeled boots! Could I get a ride too, Rena? HEE HAW!!Let's get this show on the road! Time's Awastin'
