The easy one.

When you behead a word, you remove the first letter and still have a valid word. You will be given clues for the two words, longer word first.
Example: Begin -> Sour, acidic
Answer: The words are Start and Tart.

Good morning. Just watched the finish of the tennis. I was actually asleep with Hubby watching but all the cheering woke me up. Now it will be hard to get back to sleep! An excuse to do the puzzles!

The hard one.

There is a ten-digit mystery number (no leading 0), represented by ABCDEFGHIJ, where each numeral, 0 through 9, is used once. Given the following clues, what is the number?

1) A + B + More...

Very comfortable chair - even for a dog !
The colour of the upholstery and other fabrics are very nice. Entirely to my taste - clear, straightforward, clean colours that don't confuse failing eyes like mine.

Mr Cee,
I don't have much time these days, so my visits here are fleeting. That is the only reason I don't do your puzzles. However, I do look at and consider them every day, and enjoy them very much - especially the ingenious 'beheading' puzzles, which are great fun.

The weather is confusing here today. While I was on one road, driving in dense fog, Man was heading in the same direction, on another road, 12 miles away, the skies were clear blue.

I was very pleased, that the ones driving in the dense fog, were all driving a safe speed, with their lights on. How many years, have I been ranting and raving about this?

Well, looks like I scared everybody out except HalT! Sorry I missed 22. Time for class, so I will probably disappear for a time. Karen - it was foggy here, too, for about the 4th day in a row.

You must have been on my side, Jamie, because Man was coming from Houston and he said he had clear skies, since 2 this morning.
I really do not care to drive in fog. I cannot see.

Little boy is currently 102.2. I popped in a video because he has been sitting on the couch not doing anything for a couple of hours. He is definitely not himself.

everyone!!!
Came back from a run limping. The first two miles were fine but that last mile OMG, out of nowhere pain, not sharp but enough to slow me down. So silly me figures last mile, I will simply dog it out. Me thinks I'll go take a couple of ibuprofin now.

Right now I want to curl up like that dog under a blanket and restart the day a few hours later.
24/Jan/13 3:56 AM

Can't because I have to finish up the laundry and then go to school and teach little kindergarten kids about the desert. Ooooh mustn't forget to buy straws for the science fun day this Friday.

Was minding my own business walking by the office when this arm reaches out and grabs me! Before I could shout for help, I had been volunteered for teaching 3rd graders experimenting with one variable at a time. ARGH!!!
