Thank you broni! Turkey is brining, I am brining. I made my cornbread Monday when we had it for dinner, I need to check and see if I have enough. I brought croutons from the bakery at the store for the bread. I am out of dried sage, I will have to try fresh, or make a run to town tomorrow. Giblets are cooking. I will go to bed early so I can get up early and start the turkey.

Not quite CP but it is fast approaching.
I was thinking about hanging some purple lights out on my front porch.
But not just yet as we have had lots of rain and we are still having lots of rain.
The gutter is blocked up and water is running down the wall of the front porch.

Well, in that room, the dressing is done, just warm it up tomorrow, along with the sweet potatoes. I am debating whether to do the gibliet gravy tonight or in the morning. Sweet potatoes are ready to turn into a pie, which I think will be done in the morning, along with the mashed potatoes. More...

We are going to have gravy, instead of gravey. Tonight's excuse, is that I am having to be in that room for so long.

Sleep? I was told when I became a parent I would have to give that up, at least until they left home. Since, I do not see that ever happening, I just have to depend on my naps. Thanks anyway.

Hello Jack - Yes, it was a "controlled" burning off which got out of control in strong winds and hot weather. I've just checked up and there were at least 20 homes destroyed.
This happened at Margaret River where GannieMo likes to visit.
