Picture this - it is 1962 I am 16 years old, first date, going to see 'Ben Hur'.
The lights dim, he reaches for my hand and I say ' Do you mind if we don't, I don't believe in that on a first date!'
I cringe everytime I think of it. I did buy the sweets, a box of More...

At Hubby's 30th high school reunion, there were a few people having a conversation, when one of them (female) flicked something off my husband's shoulder. Someone commented, 'Dandruff?' I said, 'He's just glad he has hair!' Then I realized another man in the group was almost totally bald - and not by choice!

Crystal: You can come to Illinois and clean my house anytime!

Good morning to all. Three fav's huh? Hmmmm, Read, Listen to music, especially jazz, and travel, although I can't do as much as I once did. Then my grands and dogs follow. Some can be combined into one. I also like to try different foods....but it shows so much that I then must go to the gym, to try and keep some of it off.

Good one, JH! Another of my most embarrassing moments happened about 15 years ago, when hubby, 2 year old son and I were standing in a large crowd watching something on stage. The young woman in front of us suddenly turned around and gave us the angriest look. How were we to know that son was More...

Good Maen everyone... Looks like a sorority house in the picture.
Have a wonderful day, depending how much you have left of it.
OK, grammer master, how would one correctly state that comment. I have tried to work that out. Have a wonderful day, afternoon and evening, or evening, and good night OZ.

Looks like a few more badminton players. I've just got home from playing tonight.

SUSAN from Ingham: sorry -- I didn't realize you'd already posted (before change-over) a suggested topic for today! Well, that gives people a choice: they can reply to either Embarassing Moments, Favourite Activities -- or both!
ANNE from Albany: do you play singles or doubles? What scoring do you use?

Hey y'all! Seems we have two topics today...embarrassing moments AND favourites! Cool.

The only time I was mortally embarrassed was during my university graduation when my very good friends' family cheered when they announced my name and I crossed the stage...but nobody before me was More...

daydreaming, yankin' weeds, bug watching...I know, wierd but there's nothing better than daydreaming on a sunny, hot, steamy day at work...(yes, I do get paid to garden, lucky me)

3 favorites (assuming Sudoku is a given):

food (watching Food Network shows, reading Food Section of the paper, trying out new recipes from newspaper or magazines, going out to eat)

crafts (scrapbooking, needlework, calligraphy)

Celia from Toronto - I only play doubles and don't bother with competition anymore. I just play for the enjoyment and exercise and play to 15.
 |  |
My favorite things:
1. Anything with my kids or my husband
2. Gardening
3. Quilting
4. Reading
Sorry, my list expanded to four.

Most embarrassing moment? Recently? I took my son to a local public swimming pool a few weeks ago. The kid has autism, so he doesn't 'get' a lot of the social do's and don't's, but he does't care anyway....but I do...anyway, he whipped it out and took a leak right there standing on the side of the pool right into the water. I was so mortified, we left right away, and haven't been back since!
 |  |
My list is way long, but probably the top three are traveling (and eating out along the way), pool (I have my own table), and MMPRPGs (City of Heroes/Villains and Asheron's Call).

Perchance do the Pictures Portray People Proudly Posing ?
 |  |
Favourite things to do = spending time with my husband (dining, going for drives) and cats, reading, writing, in-line skating, skiing, snorkelling ...
Most embarrassing moment? Oh, no you don't!
