Today's tough puzzle includes an excellent example of an Almost Unique Rectangle. As such, it is the topic of a new blog page.

A link to this page will be available through the link in the upper right column, directly under 'Check out the Sudoku Blog'.

The new page should be available about 1 hour after the new day here at sudoku.com.au.

Hi everyone.
 |  |
Good morning everyone. Cloudy and cold, heavy snow predicted. We'll see.
 |  |
2:11, but it actually felt slower.

Surely that picture is from an old movie!
 |  |
Send some snow this way. I am so over summer. Sick of feeling sticky. Sick of drought.

Goliath is a Philistine warrior mentioned in the Hebrew Bible and a descendant of Rapha. He is famous for his battle in the 11th century BC with David, the young Israelite boy who would later be chosen by God and anointed by Samuel to become the King of Israel. He hailed from GATH, one of five ancient city states in Philistia.

Now we know, don't we?

2:12 36 Celcius in Perth today _ bit too late in the season for me!

Fraz - what do you call a deer with no eyes and no legs?

A: Still no eye deer!
 |  |
and which one is Beatrice?
 |  |
Not happy Mel - to go down by one point was ...can't think of a word that could pass as inoffensive here..could Cameron Shepherd kick a goal? NO. Were their shorts too tight? probably. However, try no.44 at Wagamama's - very tasty.I am now recovering from heat exhaustion and temporary sun blindness.

The game didn't sound good at all Billy - and hot!! Although I think that I would have preferred it over the boring party I went to. I have realised why there are so many reasons that people don't wear clothes from the 70s any more!!
 |  |
David - it must be my blinded eyes or delirium from heatstroke - for some reason I can't seem to fathom what you are saying - now we know what? Please explain for the idiot here...
 |  |

Lexi was nearly missed by a toxophilist's shot, and decided to take a day off. Your concern is delitescent, but appreciated.
 |  |
What do you call a deer with no eyes and no legs?

STILL no eye deer!
 |  |
And, NOT to share with your 10-year-old nephew:

What do you call a deer with no eyes, no legs, and no 'private parts'?

Still no ****ing eye deer.

(Sorry to confuse everyone... just worked out how to change my name back)
 |  |
Mel - you just need really really good deoderant when wearing polyester. Didn't they have 70's music? I would rather have been dancing to the Bee Gees than being roasted alive...
 |  |
Lexi, I wasn't concerned..I was rather hoping they had!
 |  |
A great spring day in Florida. Unfortunately some of our trees drop leaves in the spring, and it is off to raking.
 |  |
A bit late, but, nice ass.
 |  |
Good Maen to all!
 |  |
