And the answer is.
‘May I have a large container of coffee?’ is a mnemonic for the first eight digits of pi. The number of letters in each word is the digit for the place.

Congratulations to Jamie, HalT, wolf, CanukGreg and Peter who will be enjoying a piece of apple pie to celebrate their correct answers.

So, the end is nigh...but we're happy with all our goodies and so it is time to see if anyone else is around. Today you have the once in a lifetime opportunity to meet a historical figure, someone who perhaps changed, influenced or messed up history. You may want to meet them because you admired More...

Even though Serena has given us a word puzzle today, you may want to keep this telephone number handy for the next math puzzle:

Math problems? Call 1-800-[(10x)(13i)^2]-[sin(xy)/2.362x].

All those 'details' in Kate's photo captions make it easier to query a database. It would appear that she has at least 9452 pics in her files.

I've never seen wild tobacco before, just a LOT of the cultivated stuff. There's not much difference, but I can't see the scale. The cultivated tobacco plants can get up to 8 ft. tall.
The flower in the shot is NOT a tobacco flower. It must be from some other plant, which makes me think that this tobacco plant is a lot shorter than the tame stuff.

Keith.... I like your idea of Michelangelo, but I'd prefer to spend time with Leonardo DaVinci. Everything interested him.
