ho ho ho indeed ... and belated Christmas greetings to all. I hope that your Christmas was full of family friends and figgy pudding... and that the coming year is full of the gifts of Christmas - peace, joy, hope, love and reconciliation. 26/Dec/09 12:11 AM |  |
Yesterdays talk of the 'garbo's' working set me thinking-Let us all spend a moment thinking and thanking all those who always work holidays etc. Nurses and medics, fireworkers, the police, and not forgetting our military whatever their nationality, we thank you all - wars, sickness and lawbreakers do not stop because of the date on the calendar. 26/Dec/09 12:16 AM |  |

Good Morning and Merry Christmas GrannieMo and fii. You are right about those who must work on holidays. I was a nurse and worked many holidays. I should be on my way to Oklahoma but because of the storm we are staying home for the day. I am thinking of the road crews that are cleaning up the mess on the roads. 26/Dec/09 12:36 AM |  |

PLEEEZ FOM -- I seem to have missed Agnes (12/25) 12th Day of Christmas letter. You have quite a fan following on my e-mail list who are anxiously awaiting the outcome of this saga. I would GREATLY appreciate a repeat if I have just managed to miss it. Does he live, did anyone call the humane society, .... too many unanswered questions. 26/Dec/09 1:28 AM |  |
Well, I may have to break a major Mommy rule, "Don't wake the children."Last night, Man made a comment that he could not tell who was more excited, Thing I or me.Granted I have a million tasks to do and could be working on them while I impatiently wait on my darlings. 26/Dec/09 1:31 AM |  |

This will be our very first Christmas without a goose (or even a turkey!) We'll be cooking a rib roast with all the trimmings, followed by a pumpkin cheesecake. Just finished a brunch of Grand Marnier French Toast topped with orange sauce and a side of pork sausage. So we're off for a bike ride now to make room for dinner. The weather is sunny and balmy, though a bit windy. See you later! 26/Dec/09 3:22 AM |  |
