Good Maen, good people. Yes, I got in the very last answer for Fiona, as I was up in the middle of the night trying to download software during a wee-hour "window" where it doesn't count against our internet usage allotment. In a way it's good that our automatic download wasn't working because the default wasn't the download I needed and I had to figure that out. Yawn.

Yes, indeed! A plaid sky.

Not sure that those clouds are caused by aircraft Rayray, however your comment takes me back to 2006??? when I was lying on a Scottish beach - Gairloch I think, catching up with an Aussie mate. Suddenly a British fighter jet F18??? came up over a sand dune behind us and the noise and closeness More...

Congrats, fii!
When I had the flu last week the main complaint I had was a backache. I seldom get backaches. Seems it's continuing after the flu, though. Yesterday I ended the day with a horrendous backache. May have spent too much time at the computer. MUST pay more attention to my posture for awhile, it seems!

Think I'll need to take a couple of days off before continuing on with my watercolor class art show preparations. Still have to fine-tune the list of 25 artists and 80-some paintings and then make all of the painting labels. I know this doesn't sound like much, but when you type one-fingered using More...

Shiela - You made me LOL with the definition of the Columbus method.
I wish I could help you out. You could fax a handwritten list to my email and I could send a formatted file to a kinkos/office max/etc. near you and you could pick them up. Private message me.
And, about the backache ... More...

everyone!
I, too, pretty much use the "Columbus method", Shiela. Probably why I don't do too well in chat rooms.
I see Hal is having an identity crisis.

Thanks for the offer, Plum. I still have a few days and will break it into segments.
I have a regular chiropractic appointment next Tuesday. (Computers give me neck pain.) If it doesn't do the trick, I'll look in to plan two!
Nope! Don't need gall bladder problems, but will monitor episodes.

Tip toeing in with today's puzzle.....

Good Maen all and wishing everyone a pleasant weekend.
More snow - power outage last night, but thankfully we are back on-line this morning! Nothing better than a winter storm AND power in the house!!!

Fii,
Those aircraft often choose to break the peace in quiet places.
In the Yorkshire Dales the RAF practice low flying and scare the proverbial out of the sheep. The sheep sometimes injure themselves trying to jump stone walls to escape from whatever they might think the noise is, and the vibrations from breakages of sound barriers break clutches of pheasant eggs.

Fii,
I have got stuck half-way through the tough today. I get 'blind spots' doing those puzzles.
26/Mar/11 2:05 AM
 |  |

I can well imagine. Like the sheep, I'd have jumped a stone wall if there had been one near. low flying over startled sheep!! ( Humans too) there goes another clutch of Pheasant eggs. How unphleasant!!

Yep! I get stuck sometimes too Ray Ray - depends on the day... and the puzzle and my tiredness. Having said that ... Though tis the weekend, tis also after midnight and I can feel myself becoming strangely pumpkin like .... so once more I bid ye anon.
