Holidays are nice when you can leisurely go on-line and have fun. I really should be grading science essays but the weather's nice and my friends are here. Yes, I have the pile in front of me and I do grade them in between postings!

Rapid no baking Cookies
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 lb. unsalted butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
3 cups quick oatmeal
Combine first 6 ingredients in a large heavy saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a soft boil. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla, then oats. Drop by tablespoonfuls on waxed paper and let harden.

All..Bean is back in town..
