Wagdy, very interesting your history in 1952.

I watched the coronation on a color TV and remember being so awed by the princess becoming a queen - a little girl's dream. (My, how she has aged!) (Me, too!)

Big afternoon thunder-boomer moving in - towering cumulus clouds. Always dramatic down here!

GMO - did she win? I hope that she has a better life and doesn't waste her talent like Charlotte Church.

Are they 'Weeeees' or 'Wheeeeeeze'?
In my case, with my cold, currently they would be 'Wheeeeeeze'

Poor Rayray... isn't that awful cold getting any better? Maybe you're having an allergic reaction to all those sheep.

Rayray...In my case they are both...all of that jumping around tends to do that to me....Its just letting me know that I'm still alive....even with all of these fresh mouthed youngin's sticking their tongues out at their elders....I was always taught to revere my elders...so I raise a glass to More...

Good afternoon to all! Wonderful to see children playing outside and having fun as opposed to sitting inside in front of a television.

Mo, i have 3 or 4 YSL frocks that I bought at a yard sale for two dollars each. I find that if you tear small sections off, they are excellent to use for cleaning the inside of your car windows. I did keep one as special and I used to wear it to meetings with my senior management in hopes of getting an early retirement buy out. Didn't work, but I got my bum pinched.

1952 was my last year at primary school. There was no TV in Australia till 1956, in time for the Olympics in Melbourne.

the riddle girls are doing well tonight - Heidi, Plum, Kathy and Appy have all given correct answers. Greg is too busy tonight digging out the remnants of his YSL frocks to do the riddle - Greg how could you tear off little pieces????? Mind you, could you send me a little piece - it's probably just shot up in value!
