The Williams/Dementiova match seems to have been going for hours. I'm not watching just hearing it on the TV behind me. I'm exhausted - why aren't they?

2:13 Hi to all. Is that looking up a tower of some kind? Or has the sun gone to my head?

Hmmmm, didn't seem to be a good noon smilie. Well, I'll just have to greet everyone with a "Good Noon!" in long hand writing.
Have to plan out a short outing for hubby, so as not to tire him out for his trip home ALONE. I'm sticking around for another week or so.

I am turning into a melon (neo-Kafka concept) as I bought four today - 2 Galias, one Cantaloupe, and one Watermelon. Also three Grapefruit, green Grapes, kids Apples (they are cheap - so kids (and me) can afford them. I added a small bag of Walnuts so I can make Waldorf salad. It is hot but nobody More...

Hi, Andre. Andre, are you a muggle or a witch? How does one know?

I have just harvested my first cherry tomatoes of the season, mmmmm. There is nothing quite like the taste straight from the plant. I have also had a few gooseberries but as this is there first year that is a real bonus. We used our first green chili pepper last night too.

I think I would be classed as a muggle, until I conjure up a feast from an almost empty larder!

Oh, GMo, I would give anything for some gooseberries! We had a small bush when we lived in Pennsylvania. We harvested enough berries for 3/4 of a pie each year. We were advised not to plant more because supposedly they can kill any raspberry plants within pollinating range. Our raspberries bushes didn't seem to be affected, however.

Rayray - I do hope you're not suffering from melon-cholia. That could be serious.

GMo,
My pa used to grow goosberries and raspberries within bee-fighter-pilot range of each other and both did very well.

He had about 6x 'goosegog' bushes. Loved them when they were really ripe and going yellow Huge fruit - never see the like these days.

Anne can you be a mugitch...half baked, like my mind at the moment...tis hot, hot, hot...although I've tossed aside my knitted pink and lemon striped tights (with knitted apples attached to the knee area, in a rather striking turquoise wool) in favour of an invisible pair of tights!!

I'm growing beetroot GMo...I've no idea how long it will take and what the results will be but I'm looking foward to a crop one day. I have wild raspberries and blackberries residing in my garden, my scars a testament to the repeated removal of said growth as it tries to take over my garden.

The Lone Ranger and Tonto.........

The Lone Ranger and Tonto went camping in the desert. After they got their
tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep.

Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, 'Kimosabe, look
towards sky; what you see?'

The Lone More...

Two old guys, one 80 and one 87, were sitting on a park bench one morning.
The 87 year old had just jogged around the park and wasn't even short of breath.
The 80 year old was amazed and asked the other man what he did to have so much energy.
The 87 year old said, "Well, I eat plenty More...

I had a bike accident yesterday (they say 2 of us ran together). Couldn't prove it by me. I was cruising along the riverwalk, and woke up in the ambulance.
Externally I look like I just wert a few rounds with Mike Tyson (except my ears are all there). I have 2 beautiful black eyes, and a swollen More...

Jane, no you can get seriously hurt in a bike accident, even if it only involved bikes. My hubby broke his clavicle bone and gave me weeks of adjustments (tighter, tighter, tighter, no, no, too tight, ah tighter)

Bill.... So sorry you got hurt. Was the other "driver" on his cell phone? It seems as though if he were paying attention, he could have seen you. I assume you were more or less past him and he was either passing you or just slammed you from the back.

I am a MUGGLE, or so it seems.
