Eve! What is going on? I haven't spent much time around here until the past couple of weeks so didn't know about your planned surgery. What kind of surgery are you scheduled for, and why are you even considering traveling beforehand????? 30/Jun/12 3:52 AM |  |
Eve.... Listen to the docs and have your surgery NOW. The trip can probably be postponed or rescheduled. 30/Jun/12 4:01 AM |  |

Hi, just popping in. Cleaning ahead of a rare visit from Starr and Quill. My burn is looking much better, though the skin is still dry, itching and damages easily. 30/Jun/12 4:26 AM |  |
Anyone know anything about AC? I bought a portable AC yesterday, most BTUs I could find, so \$\$\$. It's venting exhaust heat out a window but not making much of an impact. It says it's an evaporative cooler that needs no drain. To me that says that it's not taking humidity out of the air, yet it More... 30/Jun/12 4:29 AM |  |
In other news, it's supposed to be raining on us, but as soon as a few sprinkles comes down they evaporate. 45 minutes of menancing clouds and thunder rumbling, but the ground isn't even wet. 30/Jun/12 4:31 AM |  |
And my computer is still acting up leading to frustration much of the time I try to use it. Tirade over. Off to vacuum. 30/Jun/12 4:32 AM |  |

Air Conditioning clarification: There is no water catchment to drain on this AC unit. It sits inside the house but vents hot air to the outside. It has a little drain plug but tells me at most that it will produce a quart of water, which it hasn't done yet. I'm wondering why they are selling ACs designed for the desert SW in hot and humid belt? Grrrr. 30/Jun/12 5:00 AM |  |
BTW, so sorry ... I only thought the tirade was over. Apparently it continues as long as the humidity and the \$550 charge on my credit card still exists. 30/Jun/12 5:01 AM |  |
That's like selling umbrellas out here, Plum. It rains so rarely that when it does, we panic while driving! A little misting and our kids yelp to go inside. 30/Jun/12 5:33 AM |  |
Eve, what in heaven's name are you thinking??? Number one thought in your head should be 'Take of your health'! Don't you dare keel over dead! I won't ever speak to you again! 30/Jun/12 5:36 AM |  |
Yes Plum, take it back! And this time get one meant for humid weather. Trust your instincts, you know already what should be there. You've already complained about it. 30/Jun/12 5:38 AM |  |
It is hard to type with all the tubes, etc, pulling at you as you type. 30/Jun/12 5:49 AM |  |
I survived keeling over dead yesterday - EMT's arrived before my last gasp. Seriously. The hardest thing that I accomplished was to get up to my feet walk to the front door and unlock it and the sceen door and then back to the phone. I'm amazed that I actually did it the condition I was in. They keep talking to you and want a response throughout the call & transfer. 30/Jun/12 5:55 AM |  |
Good Heaven's Eve! What is the problem? What is the surgery? How can you take a trip when you can't breathe??? Listen to the doctors!! 30/Jun/12 6:04 AM |  |
What they found was I have an anurism in my aorta which has doubled the size of the aorta. I asked, if this could be what was causing problems with my esophgus for the past 3 yrs. The answer was yes. So, I've lived with this for some time now. Just unaware of what it was/is. 30/Jun/12 6:08 AM |  |
all. For goodness sakes, Eve, do the surgery now. 30/Jun/12 6:10 AM |  |
