As Hal said, we had a lovely time at dinner last night. We missed Sarah, though. We were going to Face Time, but, for some reason, I kept getting ''low reception'' and it kept failing. 30/Sep/16 12:08 AM |  |

Fall rainy day - we pulled up our plants in the back and got a stinky plant that claimed a spot - not sure what it is - some type of onion or garlic ?? - it had a round base of short leaves and tall stems with a cluster of small white flowers - can't pull it up would have to dig it up - anyway - this didn't smell until it's bag came into the garage when it started raining 30/Sep/16 7:06 AM |  |

Little post from a Melbourne friend's home. No rain today so far. In fact quite a lovely day. Off to Tassie tomorrow on the ferry. We were almost drowned in Albury, went to bed on a dry bit of land, woke up with a 2' puddle around the van. Looks like we'll get more rain in Tasmania, but we're still looking forward to our visit. 30/Sep/16 3:59 PM |  |
Just realised why Kathy's puzzle from yesterday did not make sense to me. I did not read the bit about the consonants being jumbled. I had not tried to do a puzzle for ages! 30/Sep/16 10:12 PM |  |
