I think I shall 'pass' on Tarzan's company. Not my type at all - a bit too muscle-bound for me.

I've just remembered, Dorthea, that Bean has an earth-mover and frequently journeys to the centre of the earth on it. Perhaps you could hitch a lift there with her. Come to think of it, maybe that Tarzan lives there is what attracts Bean to that part of the world.

Happy 4th to all. The city I am in has a big party starting at 6:00 with rides and crafts for the kids and fireworks at 9:00. This year I will be working at the festivities helping kids with crafts. My husband will bring the kids to the party and hang out.

Tomorrow I go to a friends home for a great meal and killer volleyball. We play it like a contact sport... each year somebody breaks something (finger, toe, arm, leg)... in '99, I broke my ankle playing. Of course I didn't learn anything from it and keep playing.

I need to go to bed now, 'cause I need energy to play hard. Night all.

I posted a pic of Mt Wellington in her winter mantle on my page. I took the pic yesterday but after hearing Mamacita's news couldn't take it any further.

Peter that photo conjures up lovely memories for me as the day we drove up Mt Wellington it was white with snow and so cold and windy on top that I was wearing every item of clothing in the car in order to take my pics.
There were not many people there except for a van load of what I can only describe as mad ones who then cycled down - I suppose that is better than cycling up.....

Hello Peter and Mo - when I went up to Mt Wellington we weren't able to leave the coach as the door wouldn't open because of the wind and the snow, which was just as well for me as I was having the first asthma attack I had ever had. It was still lovely to see it as I hadn't seen snow in many years at that time.
