Hi everyone. Just watching the cricket for the next few minutes before going to bed. It doesn't look good for South Africa!

The three magazine prices were $2.85, $1.60, and $1.25.

In the small today we have Wolf and HalT. It's obvious that you must dream about math. This should help.

You know, information is a good thing, in advance. Yes, it really is, a good thing to have. For instance, very important information was needed, at 6:30 this morning, as I am shoving my darling out the door, so we could get to the bus stop, before the bus got there. We made it, before the bus. More...

When I slithered out of bed this morning, my first thought was, 'Take child to bus stop, come back home and crawl back in bed.' When I was not informed of the change in schedule, crawling back in bed, was no longer an option. Now, the darling is safe at school, the other darling, actually, told me NO, with even hesitating, to think about it, to not take a morning nap.

Karen, when my kids were in school, loooong ago, there were no e-mail or cell phone alerts. We (well, I) had to get up and turn on the TV/radio to find out about closings or delays. This, of course, meant that I was up at 5:00 or so, to see if the kids could sleep in. I am sure many on this site went through the same thing.

Well, Kathy, you would think with today's technology, they could inform me before I go to bed and not interrupt my beauty sleep. Which I have said before, is totally ruined, when that rude sound goes off.
It never occurred to me, that there could possibly be a chance of us having two delay days More...

Neil, you forgot to mention in that trekking up the hill, in both direction, you were walking in 10 feet of snow.
I really believed my Grandpa did that when he was a kid.

Speaking of chicken....well, maybe that is a discussion between the voices in my head, and not on the site.
Anyway, I do not think there is anyone on site, who does not know, that I think, the best meal ever, is when someone else prepares it and cleans up afterwards. But since, I have yet to More...

Aileen, I am getting that same reaction, each time I mentioned it. Actually, the recipe tells me to use pickle juice as a brine, and I garnish with chunks of pickles.

Since, I missed in my reading, the chicken has to stay in the brine, 8 to 24 hours, Man is going to prepare hamburgers tonight. Now, I am on the hunt for something different for a side dish.

Sometime, before Friday, I need to clean that big heating thing, in the FPA. Neighbor is throwing a big shing dig, this weekend, and has 3 of her 4 neighbors for the use of their machines. I am sure if she was on speaking terms, with the other one, she would be using theirs, too.
