A man and his wife were driving their Recreational Vehicle across the country and were nearing a town spelled Kissimee. They noted the strange spelling and tried to figure how to pronounce it - KISS-a-me; kis-A-me; kis-a-ME. They grew more perplexed as they drove into the town.
Since they were More...

And I look forward to the same meeting. Can't wait.

True to form, I've been putting off posting pictures of our trip up to the Yukon, but had to get it done before we left for Australia. So, pictures of our trip up to Whitehorse are now in my gallery. Enjoy.

While I was checking today's posts, my dog managed to pee on some important papers in the den (I guess I shouldn't file them on the floor!) and chew up shoe. Gotta go take the guy out for his after-dinner walk now.

Read thru the posts. Looks like the Sudokuland day will start at 10 a.m. my time (EDT). That should shakes things up a bit. It should make mid-day and "end of the day" posts more interesting, too.

At Syney customs hall they have dogs that sniff all the suitcases for drugs and food. My imagination of the dogs reaction to all these stowaways was giving me quite a chuckle.
And if Jane and Shosho do get through customs we would love to have you join us here for the BBQ next Friday!

Hi there fii, we loved our visit to Darwin but I must confess that it is nice to be home again. We loved meeting you. It's a pity that the window of opportunity was so tight. Next time perhaps.

Thanks Viv. I hadn't thought it through, but I may have quite a time getting shosho and Jane through customs. I'd hate to think of them getting confiscated. I wonder if I could mail them back to myself like I've had to do with my pocket knife more than once.

Hey Greg, It is "ki-SIM-ee". That is where you wear your bandolier in your air boat to shoot gators out of the hummocks (in season)on your way to Okachobee trough the saw grass down through the sugar cane to the 10,000 Islands. Stop at Yeehaw Junction for a chaw. I really love this state!
