It rained again last night. Well, this morning at 4AM. Also, TM did not turn his Fire Dept pager off. District 3 (not ours) had a fire, called out twice, and everyone got the severe weather warning. He also gets texts from one of the local TV stations when severe weather is imminent. And he More...

Right now, I need to stay awake until I get laundry done and push the sucky thing around...oh yes, and the trash to town (small one, not big one).

June, thank you for your lovely words towards the end of yesterday's easy, it was an honour to be there to pay our respects to Sharon on the sad occasion of her funeral. I can only hope seeing three of your Sudoku family there helped in some tiny way ♥

Shosho, what kind of cereal are you eating? Wheaties never had that effect on me. Great entertainment.

Oh, I thought you were not suppose to be running until your knees healed?

One more for a CP.

Sarah Beth, I am with you on sleeping habits. Complete silence, except for the fan, and complete darkness. Have to have a night light for the Things. As for the quiet, Thing II and I, live with two snorers.

School started here yesterday - way too early for most - and many parents are complaining about it "ruining their vacation". I feel differently. I feel they should be grateful that their offspring are being exposed to (gasp) an education. No wonder we are going down the tubes so rapidly!

10 more weekdays till we go back. Not that I am counting.
We did our vaction during the 10 weeks of the Summer break. (I need to recount that, it seemed longer that 10 weeks). Thing I, says she is going to go live with Grandma instead of going to school. Poor girl.

I would like to thank Gail, Kate and Suzy for representing us all in saying goodbye to Sharon. It was a world wide hug you gave June.
Blessings to the Douglass family.

Karen, Tm and I both snore. I have one of those special machines (CPAP). It's not pretty, but I feel better in the morning when I wear it. TM complained about the noise, but I recently got a new hose and I think that helped (I think there was a hole in the hose). His snoring mostly happens in More...

A cow died. TM got his front end loader out and buried it. I have no idea how or why; heat, old age, bloat, or whatever.

Hubby's apnea was controlled by medication. But I really think that since I go to bed early (about 10 or so) I'm fast asleep by the time he gets to bed and so I don't hear him!

Man says I snore, but I do not believe him, because I do not wake myself up, like he wakes me up.

Really, not a big problem, since I am generally going to bed when he is getting up to go to work. Just one, maybe two nights a week I have listen to him snore all night. Pushing, kicking, More...

Oh, and when we were on vacation, I did not hear him snore either. I think it is because I kept those rooms freezing cold. He won't let me do that at home.

Sorry to hear about the cow, Sarah Beth. Unfortunately, it's a part of farm life. Thank goodness for front end loaders.

I never knew I snored until Fionafest in '09. Poor Kathy (Valrico) had to drag her mattress from room to room trying to find a spot in the cottage that was snore free. She said that I was the loudest. Jane was the quietest.

Oh golly, hubby says I snore, too! But like Karen mine don't wake me up like his does!

Good afternoon to all! Nice photo. If I remember correctly, that lighthouse is in a State Park but I've forgotten the name of the park.

Thanks, Heidi. Oh, Shosho, this wasn't one that I was particularly emotionally attached to. She had the last set of twins, the ones where one survived for a while. The one that is still alive isn't thriving. However, the financial attachment is frustrating. We obviously aren't going to make our More...

I had a different kind of financial blackhole - sailboat and sailboat racing. Hubby and I spend long weekends either racing or fixing what got broke from the race before!
