The clock is still wrong Jill, it's actually just BEFORE midnight, and bed is where I am heading. Just stayed up and watched a silly dvd with hubby.
Night.

Jill, I would never use sarcasism on you. The comment was complete sincerity. Said with much heart felt like.
I am still responding to your email.

Got a TOPP and wasn't trying to hard for it! Yipee, my day is good! Now if only the snow would stop. I would like to have an Easter Egg hunt in my front yard this weekend.

OK Karen. I'll wait. But you know me and patience. I might fill a few easy pages in the interim.

How are your Easter baskets going? I am learning that having candy-less is really hard and hubby really thinks there should be candy.

Sorry to change the subject, but I was pondering Sue's "snaw". I like it. It kind of describes the precipitation this time of year (not here in Coastal Georgia, mind you): snow + thaw = snaw.

Not too bad. I spoke with the Bunny this year and asked him to go a bit light on candy this year as we still have Halloween candy floating about. However MIL and Mom are threatening to mess with my egg hunt which will send the sugar levels into the stratosphere.

Sue - your spring flowers are gorgeous...and they still look lovely with the snow! Great shots of your local woodpeckers and the cardinal. Thanks for pointing me back to your garden - I always love to hang out there!

Jill - you still have HALLOWEEN candy hanging around? Man, you people have will power!!!

Jane, I liked the snaw word too, though I do not have that problem.

Jill - the weather this time of year (for you Northerners) can be raw, awright. Kind of gnaws at you, doesn't it?

I can beat you Jill. I told you about the candy drawer in the fridge, it still has Easter candy in it from last year. One of these days I plan to clean it out, but do you know how hard it is to throw out chocolate? Does it get old? I know there was a discussion one time in here about not refridgerating chocolate.

But then the was my Thanksgiving Candy, St Nick's Day Candy, Christmas candy . . . I usually give up chocolate for lent. Let me tell you More...

My retirement life in a nutshell:

While once I dwelt in northern climes
Where winters oft were raw
I bundled up and did my best.
I took it on the jaw.

Then from afar, the South did beckon
The sun was quite a draw.
I moved my goods and settled down
In a land where there’s no snaw.

Got a call from Hubby, he is coming home sooner than expected. I think that is a Yippee, moment. But it was not soon enough, the girl demanded food. I gave her a tic tac, don't understand why that did not tie her over until her Daddy came home.

Hiding colored eggs in the snow does not seem to be much of a challenge in finding them. But it is so pretty to look out.
