Last night there was way too much activity in my bed. Lots of moaning, twisting, up and down, a few shout outs, sheets all twisted, then put back in place, then more tossing and turning. My gosh, it was one wild night. Seems someone ate a cracker in our bed and the ants came to feast.

Clean sheets will be put on today, though the machines will not be turned on until later on tonight.

everyone!

I guess I was the mean Mom. I wouldn't let my kids eat in bed. I take that back. If they were sick I would fix them a tray. I'm sure they snuck food in, but they made sure I never saw the evidence.

The answer to yesterday's puzzle:
3=H on a C (3 hands on a clock)
15=D on a C (15 digits on a clock)

As time marches on, are those digits getting a little hard to read? I have the solution! Winners Captain J and Heidi (full credit for trying!), receive this larger than life More...

Oh, since our ant invasion this Summer, we are only suppused to eat and drink here or here. Not there.
But you know how people listen to me around here. The girls got a new table, for their birthday, we just assembled it yesterday. Thing II loves it and so far all her eats and drinks have been at that table.

The last of the baby items either goes out to the shed or next door to the Grandma to be, today.
Now, to just get rid of the pull-ups and I won't have a baby any longer.

You're way ahead of schedule, Karen. I just got rid of a big box of storybooks. My grandson is 18.

There is no rush, Kathy.

My sister is still complaining about baby weight gain. I told her there is not rush there either, it has only been 14 years. (Sisterly love, ya know).

What does this rebus describe?

Men's 100 Meter Sprint
Lane 1: Jared, wearing a red evening gown
Lane 2: Roger, wearing a blouse and skirt
Lane 3: Trent, wearing a blue dress and high heels
Lane 4: Waldo, wearing a white camisole

Good morning. Family returning to Melbourne today so I might get to my computer a bit more!
Love that squirrel!

A tree rat - squirrels are out of favour with me just now. They damage the bird feeders and steal bird-food.
The seed falls to the ground and grows into weeds. One squirrel has learnt to undo the latch of my seed cupboard. They are clever, destructive & messy.

Well, sorry RayRay, I love this Little guy. I, too have squirrels in my garden, but I find if I give them peanuts, they don't bother with my bird feeders.They are awfully clever though, for sure.

Rayray, you are correct about the squirrels. Their only saving grace is that they are fairly tasty when cooked "alla cacciatora"
BTW, after much searching and many failures, I finally found a bird feeder that defeats all the squirrels' attempts to steal the bird food. It was a bit More...

Good grief, the morning is almost gone and I have not played one game or done the puzzle. Been sparing with my siblings. Good thing it was only 4 of us, if the rest joined in, it would have considered a family reunion.

jacalmi, I have to agree with Rayray. The squirrels we have are distructive. We feed them sunflower seeds but that does not keep them from trying to climb the bird feeders or jumping from the trees to the hanging woodpecker feeders. We have found that cooking spray on the poles {makes them slick} More...
