Love Orchids! I especially love painting Orchids. They are such interesting flowers. I have eight paintings of Orchids so far.

Beautiful photo! I once knew a woman who told me she didn't like orchids, that they were too much - too showy, too overstated, too ornate. I still can't really get my brain around that, so I guess that means I'm not much on subtlety. I absolutely LOVE orchids' intricate details of color and shape.
