Did you know that if you park a car off road in the Northern Territory & leave it unattended for a little while, the white ants will eat through the tyres?

I remember Bluey, and being accussed of exaggerating when I said Southern U.S. country homes used Blueys as lawn art, playgrounds, extra beds, symbols of good intentions, etc. My brother just finished a 2000-mile trek of the back roads of the South, and reports that indeed, I am not living in the past. Blueys are still very much a part of the Southern landscape.

P.S. Kate, the southern U.S. is plaqued by red ants -- little stinging devils. What are white ants?

Terry, white ants are termites, although I hope not to be eaten by them!! And a little less talking of shooting Blueys, Denny. Us Blueys can be very sensitive!!!
