Sorry I left my caps on yesterday. I am working in Quickbooks where everything is all caps and I just get lazy and leave it on. I am never yelling unless it is for Margaritas on Friday night. Nice geese...we have them here in Michigan now.

The Canada Goose (CG for short ) has almost ruined our local municipal park. It's a permanent resident rather than migratory.

Jryki - Unfortunately, goose droppings are a problem around here also. They seem to cause the closing of beaches.

We get a lot here during their migration. They are especially prevelent at our local pond/park.

I hit a goose once with an errant golf shot. His pals came after me.

maen all! it seems that in the past 20 years or so the goose infestation has taken hold in most states east of the missouri river. quite a problem. one upscale town around here has actually wiped them out somehow(underhandedly,most believe). it's the only place i never see them anymore.

CG: yes, as a matter of fact, the CGs do go after people on occasion. Scares the heck out of the kids.

In Poole in the UK the authorities just asked everyone to stop feeding the Canada Geese (and the ducks) in the local park. That seemed to help solve the problem. No free food = no geese.

I've got a similar idea: "Come to Swan Lake Gardens and get a free goose dinner." Free food = no geese. PETA members: go away!

Judy, Funny thing about most of the Canada geese in this area... they have forgotten to leave when winter comes.

I'm getting goose bumps.LOL

A friend of ours keeps 5 geese as watchgeese, 2 brown and 3 white, and they can be very aggressive, and they are big!! Must more aggressive than our sooky Sam!

The geese here have also forgotten to go home, at least a bunch of them have. I love them, but the golfers here do not. They use dogs to harass (not injure) them, and it seems to help some.
