Anne - is that an old castle or something on the center hill above the beach or just a fortification?

maen all! great staging area. during the 'nam action i was stationed south of perth at a place called blackwater bay assembling helicopters. it was more of a fjord than open bay. great area except that there was no real road out of there so we were pretty much stuck in one town.

OK, I've waited long enough!!! Apparently I'm the only one who sees the koala peeking over the hill in the lower left one third of the picture. Right?????

Beautiful! But I read too much fantasy. What koala Halt? I see a dragon skeleton laying there - the wings are partially submerged in water and the snout is kind of blunt, but a dragon just the same. I hope I don't offend anyone for making light of a historical site; that is not my intent.

It appears that I have made a major blunder. I'm not sure why, but I will make an effort to find the reason. In the meantime, I apologize for any affront I might have made.

By the way, I know koalas are indigenous to the east coast of Australia, but I still see one in the picture.
