Pretty, pretty, pretty.
A lovely day here, slightly overcast and breezy, great for a neighbourhood stroll.

DanM - It's also called a Lily of the Nile, although it's native to South Africa. It's usually blue. Here in the Midwestern US the bulb has to be brought inside during the winter.

Plum, so that's why my bulbs died during a winter with hard freezes! Thanks for the info.

9:51, no possibilities. We've got a whole heap of agapanthus out the front of our house (not at the moment, give them around 3 months.)

That's my photo! They're "weeds" around here because they grow so well! I cut the stems off after flowing so they won't propagate by seed as well as spread by bulbs underground! The bulb spread is easier to handle, the seeds go far & wide AND we have a creek in the street that flows into the bush!

Called Newcastle flowers in this family as when you go there they are everywhere. Like weeds as Kate says

I should have such weed problems.
Well, actually I do. Hubby grows several varieties of winter hardy bamboo. I hate it. Can't control the spread. Burning it and/or covering it with black rubber for a month in summer only makes it mad.
Now what I wouldn't mind having a huge patch of is More...

It's my favorite wildflower, Plum. Last year was the first year we actually had some growing on our property. I was thrilled.
I wish I could transplant it too.

They're weeds in my part of the world too. I mentioned this to a neighbour who was busy planting some. She said "But I want my house to look pretty"
