Lovely photo. I've been to Norway but didn't get as far as Oslo. A beautiful country.

My brother has been to Norway. He loved it. But, the business of fitting saddles to the Fjord horses finally ended. He taught too many people his trade and now they do it themselves.

Fjord horses, VW? Are those like equine Loch Ness Monsters?

We were in Oslo and didn't have the pleasure of seeing either the palace or the Fjord horses! Does that mean I have to go back? (...But I did see what I wanted most to see... the Viking ships!)

Should have read Palace. Just took time out, sat and relaxed for about 20 minutes enjoying this peaceful scene.

Thought that Fjord Horses were popular in Canada too?

5:20. Norway is a lovely country, and certainly worth a visit. Their shortcomings are the price of beer and the frequent rain. Well, somebody has to be at the receiving end of the Gulf stream, which (in turn) warms up Finland to a bearable temperature, so who am I to complain :-)
