Yep, Wales is DEFINITELY charming. It's not just Ian's photos making it look good. Obviously, Wales makes Ian's photos look good. June's photos are wonderful, too. Great subject material.

Thanks June. It's nice to see that I'm not the only fan of Wales and 'things Welsh' on this site.
We only had rain once (in countless visits) when we were silly enough to visit during the depths of winter.

Somehow I can't imagine that even winter and rain could erase the beauty of the simple old architecture and rural landscapes I see photographed from Wales. I'm willing to be proven wrong -- just pay for my plane ticket and I'll try to be as impartial a judge as possible.

It did rain while we were in Wales last year (but not the day this photo was taken) and there was quite a lot of flooding. Even the River Dee in this photo was a raging torrent.

Beautiful photo, Ian! Beautiful country, too! Will be going there for the fifth (or is it the sixth?...I've lost track...) time in September. One time in July I had to buy a wool sweater because it was so cold! But I still love that country!
