6:45 - very easy for a hard. Once the setup was finished everything fell into place very neatly without any real logic having to be applied at all!
 |  |
Wow. Love the vibrant blue butterfly on the palm 151:07.
 |  |
Good problem today, not too easy nor too tough.

Maen to all. Nice butterfly!
 |  |
7:53 -- It was easy. My fastest time since I started tracking.
 |  |
3.12 Lovely butterfly

5:48 beautiful reward

24'08 trying a new system. doesn't appear to be working very well, does it?!
 |  |
Fairly easy for a hard.
 |  |
18:35. Time for morning nap; took pain medicine o is making me see double. Very hard to type. I'll work on tough afer nap and medicine wears off a little.
 |  |
Is that a blue morpho? One of my favorites!

Nice reward!
 |  |
lovely composition in the picture. I'd have liked to see the butterfly colors a little closer, but that would have cut out too much palm branch and ruined the overall look.
5:55 start to finish. I think that's my best for a Hard. Too easy though. No logic needed at all.

Relatively easy

23:43 I read previous timings with admiration for the combination of visual and logic skillings!!!
Explain please???What is 'set-up'...???
 |  |
5:15 personal best! We are the leaders we've been waiting for.

Yahoo!! I did it. No guesses. It wasn't quick or pretty, but I got through the puzzle. Now, I'd better get going. My husband has been a vision of domesticity -- cleaning, making breakfast, serving me as I muddled my way through the puzzle. I guess it is time for me to become productive and help out!

Happy weekend to all.

Pretty butterfly, and a nice logical puzzle -- probably too easy for the fanatics, but I liked being able to solve a hard so logically.
 |  |
4:45 setup 9:26 total. Fun & easy once set up.
josef From france - setup is filling in all the possibilities. Really helps, unless you make a mistake there (like I do a lot!)
 |  |
Josef regarding setup..In other words, don't start the timer until you're halfway through the puzzle. That will really shorten your time.☺
 |  |
ok. had to use possibilities...
 |  |
I forgot to set the timer at the beginning so I did it after I set up the possibilities (as Steph says, when half the puzzle is done). It still took me just over 7 minutes. Usually, it takes me 19 or 20 from the beginning.
 |  |
took me 43;33 cant believe i did the hard one!
family think i'm mad!
 |  |
Setup means figure it out in your head, or using 'possibilities', or on paper I suppose, before entering the numbers. This would probably cut your time by about a tenth. Do it if you're competitive, or just do the puzzle for fun!
 |  |
3'13 cool
 |  |
Six minutes exactly, 4:07 for setting up and 1:53 for solving. Not hard, no chains, pretty picture.

Fruitful maEn to all.
 |  |
Josef from france: I think most people use 'setup' to mean populating the puzzle with all the possibilities. I personally like to avoid using the poss feature until I don't see any more moves, so, like many solvers, I don't usually do 'setup'. To me it's more fun that way.

Hi everyone!

 |  |
must of been easy because i did it in 10 mins lol
 |  |
8:53. Are there tricks for doing these puzzles in my head? I have to fill in all the possiblities then look for patterns to eliminate them.
