Bustling Brussels -- a charming city!

Spring has sprung here in the greater Boston area. Everywhere there are beautiful flowering trees, daffodils, tulips, pansies and lots of green on the trees, blue in the skies. It's intoxicating!

Ah, Spring! It is 'snowing' petals here in Michigan today! Such a lovely sight! Overcast and supposed to rain later, but we need rain!

Good afternoon to all! The Grande Place! This is not my photo, but over on the far right (out of the photo) is a great English-style pub!

A pedestrian friendly street!

If you visit Brussels try to get there in August. The Grande Place (a big open square in the middle of the city) is covered with a carpet of flowers. This link (http://www.flowercarpet.be/site/main.php?lg=en) gives you an idea of how it is done and the finished result.

PS It is only done every 2 years; this year it is between 14th and 17th August

Good morning everybody. Getting cooler in the mornings so I am a bit later than usual. (slower too, but I can't blame the cold for that!)On to the Tough.

Beautiful place for such a great carpet of flowers, looks a bit cool in Brussels in that picture.
