I have extinguished my hair after flaming out with Mr. Cee's puzzle yesterday. I shall now attempt Greg's offering. But, first I have to go clean up my parvis.

Glacier picture? I thought it was the tide rolling in furiously across a rocky shoreline.

Oh, great. I finally do a puzzle that not everyone can solve, and Mr Cee gets the credit!

We just bought our Christmas tree. It's a beauty! We won't put it up until next weekend, but we've found that if we don't buy early, the taller ones are gone. Since they are not fresh cut, it won't make a difference when we buy it. It comes from North Carolina. I keep wondering if we will ever go to an artificial tree, but there's just something about a live tree.

Hi all! Catching up on posts and saddened to see what has happened to Debby, again... may she find strength.

I also see there was some debate as to haggis, what it is and if it's edible. When and if any of you decide to come over to France to visit me I shall put a few misconceptions to rights on that score. So, who's coming over?

Awww, shucks, Judy.

Would that I could, Fiona.
'Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face.
Great chieftain o' the puddin' race?'
With pipes leading it thru the great hall.
'And then, O what a glorious sight.
Warm-reekin', rich!'

Happy Saturday!
Just back from a leisurely breakfast with Hubby at the Ruby's (local 50's-style diner) with a BOGO coupon!
And that's my excuse for not submitting my answers to yesterday's challenge from HalT in time(woulda gotten 12/15--stumped by #1)

Peter, I'm not Hal or Ian, but I certainly enjoyed that video. What are you doing up so early?
01/Dec/13 5:58 AM

Morning all,a very cold pic to start the day.
Peter, that video was what it was like landing at Glasgow, only they had fog too it cleared just as the wheels touched the runway.

Miles of smiles, Fiona. Spent most of June on a 5K mile road trip and just had a fabulous time and the wee laddie never skipped a beat. He needs a little bushing and gasket replacement next week but that's just normal wear and tear.
