Thanks Canuk Greg. I think that may be the only list of famous people that I ever make.

Plum, If we were to move it would be out of the state and not just locally. Although we could justify a local move since we outgrew this house a couple children ago.

I think it's kind of ''funny'' that Plum mentioned her great day at church in the middle of my first set of ramblings. My issue is that my Pastor called and let me know they were moving at the end of the month and at this point they aren't sure if the church will continue or not. We had a huge More...

Moving may sound like an overreaction but we have been talking about it for years. It just amazes me how some people seem to up and move with little to no notice and we haven't figured out how to do it yet.

You can add me to your list of famous (or is it infamous?)lefties.

We were 10 years without a church home. I wanted to move to anyplace that had a good church to belong to, but we couldn't leave. Finally about 3 years ago there was a Calvary Chapel church plant within a reasonable distance. I started attending it as a home church - I was actually the first More...

I have a serious case of relocation constipation. I lived in the same town from birth until I left for college, moved a few times during my college years (typical), but all at the same school, then worked 33 years in the same school district. I did change towns along the way, but have been in the More...

In my 20 year career in the AF, we lived in 14 different homes. We have been in this house for almost 37 years.

Geez Keith, are we going back to birth?
OK, let's see... From birth to college I lived in Troy OH, Bethesda MD, Springfield OH, and Garland/Dallas/College Station TX. Then the AF.

So, I've lived in what, over 20 different homes?

I wouldn't feel so locationally constricted if I could just get out and travel around more. My trip to NYC was the first trip I took in 25 years that was a vacation for ME. That's why I love visiting in Sudokuland, being able to reach out and connect with all you good people all over the world and More...

You guys definitely have me beat. I'm impressed.
I'm also needing to take care of laundry and bag up nuts and fruit before heading to bed in an hour....
Though I may stay up and write - Cathy's website has inspired me! - but if I do stay up, it should be with the internet turned off to eliminate distraction! See you all tomorrow. Good maeNight.

Until I moved here, 5 years was my limit in one place. We've been here a little over 12 years and I feel stuck.

Plum, you've got to get out of your SW Michigan shell! There's a world to see out there. And seeing it on National Geographic TV is NOT the same as being there yourself.
Please try to find the means to travel a bit.

Keith, I just sent you a PM. Please let me know it you got it. Thanks.

My husband, uncle, son-in-law, and granddaughter are all lefties too.

Wow! I didn't mean to cast dispersions on lefties.

I mean, after all, they're the same as the rest of us. Just wrong-handed.

Guess I'll take some flak for that one.

I beg to differ. Count me among the lefties.

I just got home and rushed my answers to Mr. Cee. I made it!

I was transporting food for the player dinner at the stadium and a crock pot of gravy tipped over in my trunk. Guess what I've been doing since I got home? Had to remove the More...

Nine days, in our new house, I believe, this move was a grand decision. Oh, did I have many fears, and a big one, was giving up my security. I do have to double lock all the doors, and have asked Man for another lock, for each door.

My advice now, would be to start packing now. Oh, and you More...

Being from a Navy family, we moved all the time when I was growing up. My mom got rid of stuff during every move. She was NOT a collector. I don't think anyone in the military is, because you just can't keep transporting unnecessary stuff.
Nothing like a move to whittle down what you really don't need, Karen.

BTW, I was very thankful I had sliced the pot roast I had made for the player dinner and added gravy to keep it moist. The very little that was left I poured on the meat before serving. The players didn't seem to mind that there was no gravy for the mashed potatoes. They just put the pot roast on top of the potatoes.

Tell me about it, Kathy. We used to get rid of stuff with every move. But... having lived here for over 35 years, I'm ashamed to say that we have collected 35 years of STUFF!

What an ADORABLE child! How can anyone NOT claim her?
Has anyone asked why we are getting these ''unknown'' pictures on ''easy'', instead of the photos; when so many people have claimed to have submitted photos for use ?

Time for me to get a shower and get rid of this gravy smell.

My uncle was a leftie when they MADE you write right handed. In solidarity(?), we are a family of what we call both hands both. We write with our right hands, but other tasks can be done with either hand. I just thought about knitting left handed. Patterns are written to be knit right to left. I guess you would just reverse that. Any leftie knitters?

My ex husband is a leftie. Son #2 must have watched him write. He is right handed, but uses the typical leftie curled hand position.

Good news. I may have found a place to live! Now to pack. I will be paring down. This person is a friend of a friend, and that friend is having a garage sale....someday.
