Ok, repost from yesterday's last page!

Just received another version of the "tag game". This one is a little different. But thought we could all have some fun again. No need to Tag anyone this time. I just thought it would be interesting to see what we all come up with.

My No.5 Witness Protection could also be Susan Leonard. I wouldn't want to show favouritism amongst my GP's even though they're all long gone.

Cocga is kind of hard to pronounce - should the second "c" be silent, or the "g"?

A tree just fell down in the garden, so much rain lately the vegetation is starting to rot.

Matha did it do any damage? Speaking of weather it was 48.7 in Port Hedland today, that is pretty close to 120F.

Martha, I'm an alien! It's easy to say in starwarsish.

My calendar & date on my computer is still the 10th. However, the Sudoku date is the 12th. Here (PST) in 15 minutes it will be midnight and finally the 11th.

Lynda - no it fell over the neighbour's fence and landed in the paddock - we'll just have to clean it up.

Gail - okaaaayyyy, now I'm worried.

And I can't even imagine what 48.7 would feel like, urgh

Martha some of the big gums around here drop their limbs when it is dry, no warning just straight down. They would love some of your rain.

Hang on, I'm going outside to blow the clouds west. It has rained here every day since before Christmas and I think we can spare you some.
12/Jan/08 1:12 AM
 |  |

Done, let me know if it works.
12/Jan/08 1:13 AM
 |  |

Thank you very much on behalf of the thirsty trees of the West. The clouds will have a way to go! Probably take a day or two. Have you got webbed feet yet?
12/Jan/08 1:17 AM
 |  |

Not quite - I've had to wash mould off doors and that just adds to the humidity in the house, the clothes won't dry without help, the ground is so spongy it literally squishes under our feet and I don't think we've had a day over 30 degrees yet this summer - very weird!!

It must be depressing, how are the children coping? How do you make pizza dough?
12/Jan/08 1:29 AM
 |  |

ahh, the youngest is 15. They have been fine, can find things to entertain themselves. I found the drought depressing; this weather is just wet. I just use a bread dough recipe that is lodged in my head.
12/Jan/08 1:33 AM
 |  |

I've always wanted to make bread, mine turns out with the consistency of a brick most times! Inedible the rest of the time. We have pizza once a year for a birthday treat (bought one). Do you use a wood oven?

After the cool change I went down to the local shoping complex. Everyone in Safeway was wandering around in a very dazed state. A lady and I decided we all had "Post Heat Wave Syndrome". You are cooler, but your brain still refuses to function.

I dont think it's the 12 January anywhere yet - which proves this site is well ahead of anyone else.
