During a recent publicity outing, Jennifer sneaked off to visit a fortune teller of some local repute. In a dark and hazy room, peering into a crystal ball, the mystic delivered grave news. "There's no easy way to say this, so I'll just be blunt: Prepare yourself to be a widow. Your husband More...

Tonight's menu: ribs on the grill with raspberry chipotle sauce; new potatoes with olive oil, fresh dill, garlic and sea salt; corn on the cob right from the field; salad of romaine and red leaf lettuce, carrots, onion and strawberries with a champagne dressing; caraway rye baguette and cherry pie a la mode. Does life get any better.

Good morning all. I think I'll make this my only contribution to today's posts. Jeb, you are right. I, for one, did have very sore fingers and hands as well as my brain racing, by the time we finished last night. I found it difficult to settle down and go to sleep.
But, I enjoyed the day immensely.

Just a couple more days here in Texas. We went to a museum today with a great Da Vinci exhibit. A lot of hands on stuff with replicas of his inventions. Amazing man.
I'm still finding my way around the iMac, but I have figured out how to keep the smilies open! "Give a monkey a typewriter...." lol

I'm ready to give up on the "electical" experiments unless I can find some better equipment. May have to make a trip to Beaumont--oh, horror!(It's all of 20 miles, but everyone acts like it is worse than going to Houston) Maybe Radio Shack or one of the hobby stores can help me out. We More...

2:13 Good morning everyone.
Give me a home among the gum trees,
With lots of plum trees, a sheep or two, a kangaroo,
A clothesline out the back, verandah out the front,
And an old rocking chair!

Hello everyone, that is a lovely old gum tree.
Yesterday was a fun day though CynB and I were running out of things to post and we were having doubts of reaching our goal. André had us worried when she was taking so long at the bank. LOL
