Home again. Don't know how or why a trip to central Ohio seemed a harder slog than the Minneapolis trip. Maybe because it was such a quick turnaround? Anyway, we shall sleep well tonight. Counting the minutes until we can head to bed.

I just finished reading about all the carousels Peter, Keith, Wombat, and Sarah so kindly sent links about; ours has many similar traits to those renown historical ones...

The carousel was carved and created by the firm of G.A. Dentzel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was installed at More...

I remember riding the one I posted a link for when I was a little kid. There were metal rings you could grab from a dispenser, to throw through the hole in the clown's mouth you can see in one of the pictures ... frustrating for me since I'm left handed and it only worked well for right handed More...

Goodness me, Chris, to put up with that and still keep going, takes a tower of strength.

Thanks Wombat and Anne, I've had no choice but to put my feet up and take it easy since I got home! Hobbling around work tomorrow might be interesting!
