Good morning, all. Bright sunshine, and a bit cooler here today. 15/Aug/07 12:00 AM |  |
2:19 Good evening all. What a lovely photo and who was lucky enough to have a trip on the Young Endeavour. I saw it sail in to Busselton, south of Perth, on her maiden voyage around Australia and it was a lovely sight to see. 15/Aug/07 12:06 AM |  |
Hope you are all well! What a peaceful picture.... I'd love to just sail away sometimes! Take care and be happy....life is way too short for anything else.......bye4now 15/Aug/07 12:09 AM |  |
Just got back from celebrating our grandson's 3rd birthday. Now our daughter is coming up here for a few days. Her husband will be on a business trip, so she decided it would be fun to bring the kids to Grandma and Grandpa's. Yeah!! I can never get too much of them. We're lucky to live reasonably close. Packing for the big trip will just have to wait until this weekend! 15/Aug/07 12:12 AM |  |

Hi to all. It's been a long time since I've been, on this site. Probably all most a year. Not mch news. I'm still taking care of granddaughters, but they both go to school soon (too soon). I'm really going to miss them. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, however, I'm sure I'll find something. Have a good day. 15/Aug/07 12:16 AM |  |
beautiful sailboat. What an adventure that must have been. 15/Aug/07 12:16 AM |  |

Nice ship. I'm not much on sailing. What are all the black objects on the cross pieces? 15/Aug/07 12:47 AM |  |

Keith, I believe that they are the sailing crew. I don't know the reason why they do that. 15/Aug/07 12:48 AM |  |
2:47 and a lovely photo. Just four more days until we're on our own sailing vacation, not that I'm counting the days or getting excited ... 15/Aug/07 12:49 AM |  |
2:39 Hi to all. Thought for the Day: To Imagine is Everything.. 15/Aug/07 12:50 AM |  |
Perhaps they're furling the sails as it comes into port! 15/Aug/07 12:50 AM |  |
World. A beautiful day here in Pa. Hope you too are enjoying the weather where ever you may be. As Promised, in honor of my buddy and duet partner, I wanted a song just for him that spoke to how I view him, and I think I have found it. Played by its composer, and a family friend, More... 15/Aug/07 12:52 AM |  |
Fractured thought for the day inspired by André: Some days, to imagine anything is an accomplishment. 15/Aug/07 1:00 AM |  |
Exactly right, Anne, that's the way it was done. Imagine having to do it during a sudden ice storm. The best artist for this is Montague Dawson. See his ''Rising Wind'' at http://www.allposters.com/gallery.asp?aid=85097&c=&search=Dawson Click on 'larger image' to see the crew more clearly. 15/Aug/07 1:02 AM |  |
'Manning the Rails' an old Navy tradition when entering port or rendering honors to a distinguished person. 15/Aug/07 1:15 AM |  |
Good MAEN Fairly easy puzzle today. A nice picture of a sailing ship. 15/Aug/07 1:20 AM |  |
Thanks Anne. I wondered what the black things were too. Before you pointed out they were the crew I thought they were either large black downunder seabirds or headlights. I suppose the higher up you are the more seasick you get. 15/Aug/07 1:20 AM |  |
 Nice weather for a sail. 15/Aug/07 1:22 AM |  |
I for one would not like to 'man the rails'. That's too high and risky for me! I would rather help line the deck. 15/Aug/07 2:19 AM |  |
I started to type a comment just before midnight on yesterday's pages, but just hit submit now! A busy night at work again. Just taking a breather and having a cuppa before I get stuck into it all again. 15/Aug/07 2:53 AM |  |
Very intert and lovely trip. and beautiful picture. Good Maen to all. 15/Aug/07 2:57 AM |  |
I typed a title and love story on the page while reading yesterday's comments, thinking I was on the current page....and there it will stay...lol. Only the curious folk who want to see had bad it can get will go there. 15/Aug/07 3:04 AM |  |
Good afternoon to all! The photo reminds me of the 'tall ships' arrival here and the honor the crew paid to the people watching the arrival. Great photo whoever submitted it! 15/Aug/07 3:53 AM |  |
Please enjoy another great artist, Barry White singing ''My Everything.'' Enjoy all! 15/Aug/07 3:54 AM |  |
Having read the comments, I'm off to Mamacita's page, as Canadian Sunset is a great song! And performed by the composer as opposed to all those big bands who jumped in and played it in the late '50s and 60s, great stuff. THANKS Mamacita! 15/Aug/07 3:58 AM |  |
There are more pictures of young endevor under melbourn pictures. Nice ship. 15/Aug/07 4:14 AM |  |
Thanks Mamacita. Left a message on your page! 15/Aug/07 4:16 AM |  |

This picture reminded me of the year, 1988 I think, a group of friends and I 'camped out' on a gun implacement below Taronga Zoo to watch the tall ships sail into the harbour. 15/Aug/07 5:21 AM |  |
Good Grief Greg, that little piece shows true literary talent. 15/Aug/07 5:25 AM |  |
