Good afternoon to all! A good looking group of children in this picture. It's nice to see that they are well-fed and happy by the looks of it.

I had the toughest time of my life. First, I got angina pectoris and then arteriosclerosis. Just as I was recovering from these, I got tuberculosis, double pneumonia and phthisis. Then they gave me hypodermics. Appendicitis was followed by More...

A thought for the day:
Descartes said "I think, therefore I am",
but people who harass others say -
"I have to annoy others to the point where they react, then I am"

Some poetry...

A fart is a pleasant thing,
It gives the belly ease,
It warms the bed in winter,
And suffocates the fleas.

A fart can be quiet,
A fart can be loud,
Some leave a powerful,
Poisonous cloud

A fart can be short,
Or a fart can be long, More...

That lingering smell must have cleared the site.
I'm finally having a day off work - it seems like months since the last day off. I've only been out of bed long enough to make a cuppa and turn the computer on. Hubby and the boys are still in bed, but not for too much longer. #1 has to More...

I'm fairly new to this site so my next comment may be out of order and, not wishing to offend but, Colo Jim, are you full of wind? And if so what direction are you blowing? I'd like to move out of your way.

Rolanda, I assume you know why God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his 12-year-old son Isaac when he did...

Colo Jim, Genevieve, you two have brought a smile to my face and a grimace! Funny but oh the memories that brings from my classroom. Today I have a case of frostbite in sunny California. We made ice cream to learn how taking energy out of a liquid would turn it into a solid. My fingers froze trying to help them get ice and rock salt into their gallon size ziplock bag which also had another quart zize bag of their ice cream mixture. Success was sweet - literally!

Goodbye til Monday. Off to Melbourne to spend 48 hours cooped up in a Hotel at an Annual General Meeting. At least we will have no idea what the weather is like outside the hotel. Apparently Melbourne is worse than Tasmania just at present. I think three sunny rainless days in the 46 days of spring. Oh for a day when I don't have to wear a coat or a jumper.
