Having Leah go off to school will make dinner time easier. She is a vegetarian! My wife and I like meat on a regular basis - though we also enjoy the vegetarian cuisine. We just like to keep things varied! 16/Aug/09 4:18 AM |  |

I just made my airline and car rental reservations for my high school reunion in the Chicago area and a visit to my sister-in-law in Michigan next month. I'm hoping to have a chance to meet up with some of the Illinois and Michigan Sudokuists while I'm there. I'll be in Grand Junction, MI (near More... 16/Aug/09 7:05 AM |  |
Sounds like a good trip, Jane. Jeanie and I are taking a four-night cruise from Galveston to Mexico Sept. 10 - 14. The trip is being organized by one of the local fitness trainers (so you can feel bad every time you eat even a bit too much!!). 16/Aug/09 8:29 AM |  |
Jamie, sounds like a fun trip. All you have to do is extra situps, pushups or what ever exercise is now popular and then you can eat all you want, NOT. 16/Aug/09 8:37 AM |  |
NOT is right, Sue, but that is probably how I will approach it. ha ha 16/Aug/09 8:39 AM |  |
Jamie, I have always been firmly convinced that every time you carry an over-loaded plate away from the buffet table you are exercising and burning calories. Exercise well! 16/Aug/09 8:42 AM |  |
 CG - a man after my own mindset. 16/Aug/09 8:44 AM |  |
Just eat what your fitness trainer eats and you should be ok, Jamie (unless, of course, he or she is younger than 30 because when you're young you can eat any blasted thing you want and not gain weight. Grrrrrrrrrr!!! 16/Aug/09 8:45 AM |  |
Sue - Did you find any treasures at the farmers' market? 16/Aug/09 8:47 AM |  |
Hi Glenn, wonderful to see you. I have often wondered how Robyn's website business was going. Great looking 'shack' you stayed at! ...I wish I was an empty-nester... 16/Aug/09 9:56 AM |  |

I commented last Friday week that I was gladly handing over the reins of managementship to a new person!! Ha! Ha! She lasted two and a half days and decided, after us waiting for 10 weeks for her to start, that she really didn't want to do that type of work anymore after doing it all her working life. Now back to more stress and sleepless nights. 16/Aug/09 12:25 PM |  |
 No worries, Rayray, he's a professional... 16/Aug/09 12:25 PM |  |
