For those of you who have asked, thank you for your concern. I will admit to wanting to panic and rip my babies out of school and never make a public appearance again, but we are reassured, that our school is not infected. Even though the school district shares buses, precautions are being done. 3 More...

G'day mates.
Here's today's daffynition:
Airplane: What Mom impersonates to get a 1-year-old to eat strained beets.
Here's today's factoid:
A mathematical wonder: 111,111,111 multiplied by 111,111,111 gives the result: 12,345,678,987,654,321.

Sorry, for those who have no clue as to what I am rambling about, Ebola has hit our area. I thought Dallas was too close, but the school is much more closer.

Oh, Aileen, that is an understatement.
I so miss the days, when my only worry in life, is if my nail polish matched what I was wearing for that day.

everyone!

I hope they soon get a handle on how best to deal with this Ebola threat. Right now it doesn't seem as though there is any consistent or effective plan.
Scary stuff.

Sorry, Keith I had to run, instead of race. It was the best thing for everyone, especially me. Staying at home with my imagination and the news, would not be a good idea.

It was great getting out, it is a beautiful Fall day. Sun shining, perfect tempts., friendly people and great deals. And lots of sanitary wipes everywhere.

Ohio, is having more of a panic attack, than here. All I know here, is that the three schools have closed for cleaning purposes. The lady in question, went in a 20 mile radius of our friend Jill, who has informed me, that businesses are shutting down. I am sure just for cleaning, to stay on the safe side.

I took Silverteen & two friends to the State Fair today - the district has teacher work days today and tomorrow. I no longer need to stay with them, so I did the 'lunch token' thing: get in for a $5 pass, eat fair food junk, and if you leave and turn in your pass before 2pm, you get your $5 back.

I like going to the fair, just for the food, being in the crowds, and taking pics. I'll do some rides if I'm staying with the kiddos, but don't feel the need to ride anything.

It saves some money, but fair food is quite pricey. As well as greasy.

I figure kielbasa, fried mushrooms and a dipped cone once a year is good for the psyche and soul.
