Good luck with the healing, Ray! Everyone I know who's had that surgery has done exceedingly well!! Which reminds me of a joke: a guy undergoes major surgery (such as a hip replacement), and afterwards he asks the surgeon, 'Tell me, honestly, Doc, will I be able to play tennis?' The doctor More...

Thanks for your comments, jacalmi, Greg, Heidi, Amelia & Keith. It was an amazing cloud show that evening! The blue clouds just rolled right across the water, following the sunshine. Following the blue clouds were the grey rain clouds and everything was dark & heavy. In about 30 minutes it was all over & the sun shone again till it dropped behind the hill at the back of us!!

Apparently it's a Roll Cloud, which is a low, horizontal, tube-shaped, and relatively rare type of arcus cloud. They differ from shelf clouds by being completely detached from the thunderstorm base or other cloud features. Roll clouds usually appear to be 'rolling' about a horizontal axis. They can be a sign of possible microburst activity.

Good morning every one. Keep smiling Ray Ray. Had my knee done a couple of years ago and it was the best thing ever (after a while that is). For any one who is interested I have put a few pics of daffodils that are flowering at the moment on my page. Feel free to pay a visit.
