Today it will be glazed ... and probably nothing more. This time of year the leftovers are as important and as good if not better than the first meal. But then you can't beat the first meals aroma's ... Hmmmm scalloped potatoes. Now you have me thinking.

for those of you who didn't understand Catherine's mail yesterday - a couple of idiots in her town stole a fireman's truck for a bet while it was on a mission, then succeeded in mowing down four little girls as they were coming home from school - one of the girls has since died and the three others are seriously injured. The accident happened on Catherine's street - the news has been full of it.

j'ai appris la mauvaise nouvelle hier soir, déjà c'était dur, mais d'apprendre que c'est chez toi m'a fait d'autant plus mal. Mais comment les gens peuvent être aussi cons? Je ne peux pas imaginer la douleur des parents, pourtant ma fille a six ans et je devrais pouvoir, mais cela me dépasse complètement. Je pense que rien peut conforter les gens dans ces moments là.

et toi, tu vas bien? j'imagine que cela doit être horrible à vivre. Tu te rappelles l'année dernière à Pau un détraqué à décapité une infirmière et en a tué une autre, bien, c'était à deux pas de chez moi et cela m'a fait mal, très mal, de penser qu'il y a des gens dans ce monde capable de tels actes. On est choqué, jusqu'aux os, c'est vraiment dur, alors je partage ta peine.
