Silvergal's rebus looks like a tough one. I'm glad we've got two days. Keep up the news from Missouri HalT. It's not a part of the States I'm familiar with.

We spoke to our other nighbour on Friday. She witnessed my bike crash. and says it was spectacular. A full sommersault, before crashing into the culvert 3 feet below.

CP - I didn't realize your bike accident must have been right near your home. I hope you're not having to take lots of pain medication at this point. How many casts or braces are you wearing now? I hope they don't think you'll need surgery on down the line.

My brother went around to schools to show kids his bashed helmet, with no bashed skull, after a fall from his bicycle. He had some broken bones and many bruises, all survivable injuries.

Helmet was badly cracked, Sarah. Head was not. Bruised and shaken but not broken.

Yes, still on painkillers, Dottie. Broken ribs not happy most of the time, one cast only on right wrist they managed to save my spleen so no surgery planned. And I escaped a neck brace by mm, as it was decided my vertebral fractures (2 of them) were stable enough to do without the brace.
